Burger Bueno

This place is terrible. I’ve been 3 times. Service has been poor each time. One time the wife and husband were arguing in front of me. The first time I went they skipped my order. It happens, so I decided to try again. Second time I called in to place an order. The man never wrote it down, so they didn’t have it. The third time I ordered an avocado chicken sandwich and the avocado was black. I think I finally learned my lesson.

The half pound burgers are cooked to order. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was delicious!

4 stars and I would def come back again! LoL
I feel so bad for this place since it’s right between In&Out and McDonalds, and this place become invisible.
I like their burgers so bad! We came in and order 2 different burgers to see how they are, and guess what, THEY WERE SO GOOD!
The meet was juicy and tender, the flavor was really really good (I think they use good quality of beef.)
French Fries is ok, it’s crunchy which I like but flavorless!
Overall I would come back to try something else!

Hit or miss. Not very friendly owner. Solid burger but argumentative if they get it wrong which happened all three times I have been there. Great ice and very large burger. Prices recently increased.

Unfriendly owner, argumentative when order was wrong and hair on pickle. Place looks and feels filthy. They just stand around and waste your time. Large burger and good ice.

This is a nice little restaurant great for lunch. The price of a burger is about $ 7 to $ 8 so not too bad. The portions are huge like what reviewers mentioned.
Here is what I ordered:
— Hawaiian burger — the meat was cooked to perfection but make sure you ask for the sauce on the side or else the burger would get pretty messy. The size of the burger is huge as well so be prepared to eat.
— Bueno Burger — this is the ordinary burger which I think it’s fine if you’re not into the other flavors. I would still recommend the Hawaiian.
— Turkey burger — If you are not able to beef for whatever reasons, I would recommend getting the turkey burger. The Patty is pretty thick and once again the portion is much bigger than expected.

— smaller restaurant but it doesn’t get too crowded during lunch time and they have seats inside.
Please note that if you do eat inside, your shirt will smell like you were cooking behind a grill.

Probably closer to 4.5 stars but as good of a small hamburger joint as I have found in DFW. They use real beef and buns. The toppings are pretty decent as well. The burger is juicy and charred without that visible saturated fat, bony stuff, and soggy buns that I find at 99% of the hamburger places by Arlington.
The ketchup kind of sucks and there is a little bit of chaos during the lunch hour. Its also in a crappy strip mall (the taco place next door is also surprisingly good). Also had the lemon chicken sandwich and it was awesome. Great sauce and cooked to perfection. The fries were borderline great both times, the fry set-​up is kind of weird as there is no heat lamp but instead a tub on top of a warm fryer (but it works really good). I’m going to miss working on this side of town as the choices are way better. Keep up the good work burger Bueno.

I ordered just the burger for lunch and was not disappointed. Very juicy and flavorful, with a generous amount of their special sauce, presumably thousand island. The beef patty was pretty big and thick… enough to feed a hungry man for lunch!

I was working in the area & needed to get something to eat after a long day. Thanks to Unilocal this place was right on time. They graciously accepted my Unilocal checkin for a free soft drink & my food was prepared freshly and promptly. Burger was a nice size I could not finish it. The Avocado was very fresh and so was the bread. Fries were nice too. Great quantity for the price. It’s located in a non-​de-​script strip center right next to a CVS, you blink and you will miss it. Thanks to Unilocal I did not.

Totally unexpected great hole in the wall. Chicken sandwiches never impress me but wow! Huge, great value, and quality ingredients. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items.

Fantastic burgers! Some of the best I’ve had. And the burgers are grilled right in front of you! I’d say it’s a must try for Burger lovers! And they have tons of different choices of burgers as well… I got the Hawaiian Burger last time I came in and it was delicious!:)

Wow. Oh wow. This is THE best burger I have had in Dallas so far. It’s so simple and so delicious. All of their ingredients are fresh and it is made to order right in front of you. The burgers remind me of my childhood having back yard grilled burgers, but these are soooo much better. It taste like home. The fries are out of this world. Crispy on the outside soft and fresh on the inside. Perfectly seasoned and no where near too salty. I have been looking for a burger that I can’t get enough of and after two years I’ve finally found it in a little mom and pop shop. I will never go anywhere else for a burger. Not to mention a burger and fries is enough to feed 2 people under $ 10!!! Try it! You won’t regret it.

By far, this place has the best burgers north of 635! If you can get them to prepare it properly.
My friend and I just left. I had mayo, no jalapenos, he had no mayo. I was handed in my left hand no jal, rig by hand jalapenos. He ordered fries. I told cook that handed it to me, and she said, «no, no one paid for fries. WHERE is your receipt?»
Lol! I was forced to ask my friend to bring up his receipt, and no apologies were given. After sitting down, both of us eating, I starting tasting peppers. I opened the burger, and didn’t see any mayo.
After this rude, discourteous treatment of a customer, I am sad to say that I will not be returning. If you make an error, you must own up to it. They refused to do so! Even argued with me that «I told you this one has mayo, this one doesn’t». No ma’am, you NEVER mentioned mayo, only jalapenos.
I promptly handed them my receipt and requested my money. I never accept food that has been prepared incorrectly. Never! I’ll just have to Wingfield’s.

I’ve driven past this place for years and never paid attention to it.
I stopped in the other day to check it out and it was worth doing so.
I got a pretty big bacon cheeseburger, and it was tasty. It was big, and had bacon!
This burger definitely needs two hands to hold.
My only complaint was that the bread tasted like it was about to go stale, other than that it was a good tasting burger.
No complaints about the fries either.
There is nothing fancy in the inside of this place, I got my burger to go, so the looks inside didn’t really matter.
I will check this place out again. For a good tasting burger, and for something new, I would Give this place a try.

Great burger place!!! Their burgers are huge and very filling! I ordered the House Chicken Sandwich. It was delicious and humongous. I couldn’t even finish it all. All of their burgers are huge and made to order. They use real meat (not overly seasoned) and good produce. I didn’t order fries this time, but I’ve had their sweet potato fries and they were good. Didn’t realize how close it was to my job, will definitely be back!

There are restaurants that wow me but usually the are much more costly. My honey is on a low carb diet so the special request for a burger on a tortilla didn’t even cause a flinch. Well cooked and we’ll seasoned. Will be back SOON !!!

It’s still the same old Burger Bueno, although it might have slipped just a bit. Serviceable large burgers, cooked on a flat top by the most stone-​faced counter help in Dallas. Plenty of grease drippage, so leave it in the paper as you eat it, or the fries in the basket will be floating.
Speaking of fries, they’re fresh breaded steaming awesomeness. The gyros are always good, but I sometimes wonder how long that Kronos carcass has been hanging in the rack.
Sit at the bar in the winter and the flame-​ups from the grill will keep you warm. Beware of long lines at noon. If you order a drink, act like a know-what-you’re-doing regular when you head around the counter to fill it.
Why is it 4 stars and not 3? It’s BYOB. Get some.

The first time I came to Burger Bueno 4 years ago the place seemed a bit outdated, but the burgers were extremely good and filling.
Today the place seems a bit more outdated but the burgers are still really good. The oversignage and notices everywhere are a bit downing — if you’re going to charge 25 cents for extra sauce then you need a smarter business model.
A little bit of paint, a glass door, less signage, and a little smile from the lady behind the counter would help… Oh… And please watch the cross-​contamination… I don’t like seeing people touch raw chicken and then touch bread, and pretty much everything else with the same gloved hand… Or should I pay 25 cents for you to buy extra gloves?

Burger Bueno is muy bueno!
Ok, the location is convenient, though the neighborhood ain’t Bel Aire. And the joint isn’t 5 Star, but it’s nice and clean and with an efficient, friendly staff. But frankly you don’t come here for the ambiance.
You come here for the food! And you leave FULL! Just look at those MASSIVE burgers in the photos I shared! Good God man! Are you trying to give me a coronary? :-D
We had a burger, a turkey burger, a gyro and a cheese steak. All were quite tasty. So it’s well worth the visit!

One of the biggest burgers you will find. It is pretty tasty, but ask them to go light on the salt or else you will be thirsty for hours afterwards. I am a bit of a fries snob and their fries are pretty good as well.
What has impressed me most on my visits to Burger Bueno though is not actually the burgers, but the gyros. I am pretty picky about gyros, and there are a lot of restaurants serving crappy ones, but the ones here are pretty darn good.
