A coworker and I enjoyed lunch here last week and were pleasantly surprised. It is simply decorated and part of an antique store, but makes it nice for after lunch browsing. The staff was friendly and the food was reasonably priced and quite tasty! I tried the crêpe of the day with a cup of broccoli soup and I was not disappointed!

The Bleu Artichoke is a quiet, cozy café in the heart of Dallas’s Design District. We found it by accident one afternoon while picking through shops in the area. The café is small and intimate with a fantastic serving staff and amazing food. They had tons of vegetarian options and were happy to modify meals so we got exactly what we wanted. The soup was homemade and delicious, and the caprese sandwich was amazingly good. I highly recommed a stop at the Bleu Artichoke the next time you are looking for a quiet lunch!

I work in the Design District and this is my everyday lunch favorite. They’re friendly, they’re quick and the food is the kind I love most — simple gourmet. My favorite: Peasant Lunch with their magic iced tea.

Just before I thought they couldn’t get any better. SHAZAM!!! «What’s to improve on???» you might ask. ~*~ FREEBOOZEWITHPURCHASEOFENTREEONFRIDAYS~*~ Yes folks… they must have found my weakness, because this joint is shelling out a complimentary glass of wine(or sometimes a mixed drink) on OCCASIONAL Fridays. I think the key is to join their email list so you’re in the loop. I myself am on some several design district email lists so I am always informed of happenings in the area! Now…keep in mind they’re only open for lunch. But, if you don’t tell… I won’t ;)
