I love this place! I’ve never physically been inside, but my building that I work in participated in a food delivery service and they have this place on there regularly! I really enjoy the product that I get. I also got a coupon the last time I ordered, so I’m hoping to actually go in there in the near future.

I always forget to leave a review when we come here. This place is AWESOME! the BEST cheesesteaks around! The workers are always friendly and food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. Everything is made fresh as far as I can tell. Restaurant is always clean. This is not a fancy place, but inside is nice and has ample seating. Highly recommend!!!

Facing a lot of cheesesteak competition in the area, Big Tony’s rises to the challenge. It’s a large storefront, clean, with plenty of seating. I got the regular #15, the Broadstreet, with steak, mushroom, banana peppers, sautéed onions, jalapenos and cheese. Flavors were right, bread was fresh, what a tasty sandwich! Even though I was hungry, the regular sandwich was plenty big. I doubt I would ever get the large. Big Tony, the owner of three of these establishments just happened to pop in while I was there and stopped my table. He’s a real peach, a nice guy who gets to know his customers and is actively making sure his micro-chain is operating at his standards. He also sells the best cheesesteaks in the North Dallas /Addison area. Get some.

Big Tony’s a good dude, but not as great as his fav sandwich the #15 with mozz, banana peppers, mushrooms, and some other goods. Highly recommended, very tasty.

Sandwich is just another run of the mill cheeseteak. This is almost like going to a bar and ordering a cheesesteak. It was over salted plain steak without any other flavor to the meat. The bread was a little more than you would expect and in spots very dry. The meat made parts of the sandwich so soggy you had to hold it closed from the bottom. I like ranch on my cheesesteaks and it was just like ranch out of a bottle which is kinda disappointing to have premade anything at a restaurant. I will say that if you get the larger sandwich you do get about a foot long worth of sandwich. I had mine to go so can’t really say if anything else was good, although the fries did look good from what I could see.

Book shopping makes you hungry. We all know that. We stopped in for a bite and to try out a new place. We were not disappointed. First off, we were greated immediately and asked if we had any questions about the menu. Since the menu features 20+ distinct sandwiches… we had some questions. I decided on the #24, The Rocky, and my cousin got the #4, the classic cheesesteak. The decisions didn’t end there. I added more peppers and tomatoes to mine. We upgraded to combos, as well. The spicy fries are legit. The sandwiches were cooked to order and came out hot and fast. We were even offered some of the house steak sauce. I may never need ketchup again. This place is the real deal. The rolls are so soft and hold up to the amount of meat and cheese… it’s pretty awesome. Almost five stars, but with more visits… they’ll get there.

I spent $ 10 on a small amount of meat, no onions, asked for bacon… guess what… no bacon… and to be honest, that kind price for what I got, I will never ever order food from this place again. Not worth the money… I can go to subway and get twice the food for much less…

Frank the man behind the open grill is the best cheesesteak artisans in town. He always makes it perfect, just the right amount of ingredients, the proportions he uses must be a secret because ive been to ever cheesesteak restaurant in dallas and Big Tony’s takes First place by far!!! The restaurant is open you can watch the chef from your seat cook your meal. Very affordable and clean! A gem tucked between the smoothy factory and a spa in a strip center off Preston north of 35 with a nylon sign hanging out front barely knoticeable from Preston… you would never guess Tonys would be one of the best Phillies cheesesteaks in town. This was my 5th or 6th time here. That was in the month and a half that I’ve discovered it. His time i brought my girlfriend Whitney. She couldn’t decide what she wanted … But luckily Shelby was there to guide her in the right direction, she was so informative with every question that it only took about 3 minutes for her to figure out what she wanted. Needless to say she’s a fan now and we’re definitely going back.

Amazing! The only cheese steak in dallas that reminds me of home. Everything down to the bread is absolutely divine. Very clean open place and on top of everything very friendly, accommodating staff. 10 out of 10 and I will be returning and recommending.

This was my second visit to Big Tony’s for a mushroom Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and onion straws! The sandwich is made fresh to order and is stuffed with delicious tender meat and tastes great! The Onion Straws are their onion rings and are excellent! Anthony asked my name and introduced himself and thanked me for coming to his restaurant. It really made me feel like it’s a neighborhood place where they remember you when you walk in! The food is awesome– be sure to try Tony’s steak sauce– it’s a great touch on the cheese steak!

It was a dark, desolate Tuesday morning at Atmos Energy, my co-workers and I were looking for a new flavor town to lift our spirits. After narrowing our search down to cheese steaks or burgers, I came across a promising 4.5 star Unilocal listing titled, «Big Tony’s cheesesteaks», the rest is history… We were greeted by an excited staff and Phillys memorabilia decorating the walls. Big Tony even came by our table to inquire upon our experience and ended up hitting it off with my good friend, Big Trey. Laughter echoed throughout the eatery as we all enjoyed our meals. The two are now pretty much inseparable and big trey has announced big tony will be giving him away at his wedding this December. All hail big Tony’s

Oh my god, what can I say about this place. I went here once before and I got a large cheesesteak with provolone cheese. My fiancé got his with whiz. Mine was pretty good, but he kept raving about how amazing his was. So this time when we went I got mine with whiz as well as peppers and onions. Seriously, it was amazing. The bread was nice and soft. The steak was tasty and juicy. The cheese was perfect. Combined with the juice from the steak, the cheese ran down your chin as you dug in. We also got fries which were nicely seasoned as well. The owner was nice asking us how we heard about the place, Unilocal of course. The blonde server was really sweet and remembered us this second time. I have been to Tony Luke’s in Philadelphia. This was better, hands down. We will most definitely be back.

I found this hidden restaurant when I was at Half Price Books! And I’m so glad I checked this place out! Of course I did check Unilocal out first. And they had amazing reviews. I came here and ordered the #2 since that was recommended! It was the Philly cheesesteak! They offer their homemade steak sauce too. I’m picky when it comes to steak sauce so it wasn’t for my tastebuds. But the sandwich was great! I’m happy with my meal! I ordered the regular with sweet potato fries and a regular fountain drink. However, it was $ 3 for a large sweet potato fries — didn’t seem like it was a large, but that’s okay. Total came out to $ 11 and some change. The wait didn’t take too long! It came out fresh and hot! Overall I like this place! I think they’re fairly new. The staff was very nice and the girl at checkout was really friendly and helpful! I also like their little sink they have to the side of the dining tables! How convenient! Eating a sandwich like this sure does get messy! Anyhow! I’ll be back! And I hope they become busier since it’s so hidden! Check this place out whenever you’re around preston and 635.

Walked in to the resturant and was greeted bt the friendly staff. The cashier walked me through the sandwiches and cheese options. I went for an original extra meat cheesesteak with wiz. It was great I’m making a tour of dallas cheesesteak resturants and this place is a definite stand out lots of meat light seasonings. Just awesome…

Very impressed the guys offered to make our food however we would like it! Great portions and lots to choose from. Food very fresh and tasty! We had the south street style philly and philly cheese steak, both excellent. Try the hockey pucks;)

Drove here on a nice Saturday evening from downtown Dallas to buy a cheesesteak and on Unilocal it says open til 9pm I arrived around 7:50pm only to have an employee tell me they are now closed. Also the closing time on the door was 8:30pm. At one point I tried to get the employee or Manager to sympathize w/me due to my long ride but he was real rude. Did like this place but doubt I visit again due to the unprofessionalism & rude worker.

Best cheesesteak in Dallas, easy. I’m a fan of Texadelphia but this place is better. I got the mushroom cheesesteak(#8) and it was dripping with flavor. Also opted for the sweet potato fries(make sure to say yes when they ask if you want brown sugar) and those were the best I’ve ever had. So sweet but not too sweet. Prices were a little high(12.50 for mushroom cheesesteak, sweet potato fries and a soda). I normally dont like to spend more than 10 $ for lunch. But the quality was fantastic. The owner was there. Very nice. Told us there are two other locations(Allen and Desoto). Will be back!

I’m originally from Philly and just made a military move to the Dallas Area… I have been looking for a cheesesteak place ever since I got here(Dec, 2014). Well low and behold, Big Tony’s just opened up a new joint across the street from my a recruiting station! He came in to my office with menus and talked to me about where he grew up and came from. Big tony is the real deal and knows his cheesesteaks! Also, gotta try the old bay fries… it’s also a Philly thing! Enjoy some Philly food without the travel!

I only tasted cheese. It was their first day open so when I went in and didn’t smell cheeseteaks, only cleaning solution, I tried not to be deterred. The smell in there was a turn off though. The dining room looked nice and I really like the bathroom sink on the far side of the dining room that makes one feel at home when getting cleaned up from what I hoped would be a delicious drippy sandwich. It wasn’t. It was small and tasted mostly like cheese. I ordered the chicken cheeseteak and was unimpressed. I think I’ll try something else once they get rolling. I saw a veggie cheeseteak on the menu and I’d love to know what that tastes like! I learned that the owner is actually from Philly which makes the place official. This is the owner’s third location in the area but you should know the menu says prices vary by location. Located in Preston Village Shopping Center near Half Price Books, next to Smoothie King. There’s no sign yet, but they’re open!
