Very bad place they will rip you off, if you have a special event that you want to enjoy keep looking because this is NOT the right place, I rented this place for a wedding and they will not give a deposit back even we left the place cleaner than it was

Big Thicket (at White Rock Lake) is a public park with a view of the lake. The Big Thicket Recreation Building is a historic building that has been refurbished recently. Good place for a party or a wedding. You would call the Dallas Parks department to book the building for an event.
