Better Windows & Doors

I contacted Better Windows for replacement windows for our entire house. Patrick came out and took measurements and a 50% deposit. Since taking my deposit, Patrick gave a couple reasons as to why we have not received appropriate attention or the final product. After taking our deposit in January and promising installation in February, it is currently the last day of April and we still have no direction as to when or if we will receive our windows. Do not trust this company. They will take your money.

From the initial sales call and discussion of our options for windows through the installation, the quality of workmanship was outstanding and the service has been exceptional. I contacted Better Windows for replacement windows on our new home, Patrick and his right hand man Cameron came out and took measurements and a 50% deposit. Patrick since then has sent fake emails where there issues with the manufacturing plant, then something happen to Cameron so he needed Rocky on this, needless to say I still have no windows, I have no refunds and Patrick who was first to answer my initial calls will not even answer a text. Through lots of research for my compliant filing with the BBB, the state and Dallas news 4 I have found this company to be ran by a long time con man, who has a long record of taking money and never delivering the product. DO not be fool by 5 star ratings, they are either friends or fake accounts. DO yourself a favor find another company, this is nothing but a lying cheating con man.

My connection with Better Windows Online began with a phone call which was answered directly by the owner. There was absolutely no pressure to buy or set up an appointment, but he answered my questions about a product I was considering and gave me some suggestions and information for further research on the windows. Following that initial phone call and research, we decided to set up an appointment to look at the product and Patrick was very considerate and flexible to our time constraints regarding this appointment. At the appointment, once again there was no pressure, just answering of all of our questions and information for us to make a decision as our project was a very large one with a considerable investment. We decided to go forward with the suggested windows and installation took several weeks. I could not have been happier with the installation team and their helpful attitudes and knowledgeable work. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves every day. We were also very impressed with their handling of problems. Where there was rotted wood around the window, it was replaced. Where there were ants, they sprayed. As with every large construction project, there were a few small problems that were immediately handled to our complete satisfaction. There was one window that came in from the distributor in the wrong size. As soon as this was discovered a new one was ordered, but they had already taken out the old window. At this point they devised a cover for the window with vinyl siding and wood and caulking so that no rain would get in with the expected storms. Often a company is taken down when they hit problems. In this case, it showed their dedication to our satisfaction and the care for our home. We are very happy with the final product and the installation process that got it there.
