Besides the landmark sky scrappers, downtown Dallas had very little to brag about until recently. With Dallas’ decision to make the heart of the city more green by building parks around it’s definitely made the area more unique. Belo Garden is one of three parks that has opened recently and it’s my favorite of the group. With plenty of chairs and tables and plenty of trees to provide ample shade this park is a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle which is downtown Dallas. One of the coolest features of Belo Garden is the fountain plaza, an interactive fountain, that is great for people watching. Don’t forget to bring your pawed friends. Dogs are welcome!
