This is my go-to store for great prices on natural, high quality, beautiful gemstone beads. Along with their excellent selection and great prices(their unbeatable special deals change every 2 weeks), the staff is very welcoming, helpful, and makes the experience one you’ll enjoy! They make every customer feel comfortable, answer questions, and graciously offer a bottle of water or soda(much appreciated in this texas heat!!). My favorite part — they have AMAZING deals on bags of loose beads — most between $ 5-$ 8 for about a handful of gorgeous mix of gemstones. And no wholesale license required!

I did not like this place. The prices were expensive and the owner or someone followed me around the whole time throughout the store. I went there to shop, not be followed and provided unsolicited suggestions for purchasing beads. I felt like I was treated like some punk off the street, but I’m a serious beader. I would rather buy on line at Ship Wrecked Beads or go to Michaels than go back to this store. Very minimal selection also compared to other bead shops.

While visiting in Dallas my cousin took me here. You have to pay attention, when you exit the highway they are a quick right and if you’re not looking you still miss them I fell in love. They were having an awesome sale, which made items more reasonable. I’m always looking for a great deal. The staff was VERY friendly and knowledgeable. I found some awesome treasures. I definitely recommend them for your beading needs.

I started beading recently: I took a couple of basic classes and have gone hard-core(read: crazy) in the last month or so. Seriously, it’s getting embarrassing. I’m starting to make things for friends because I’m running out of room for my own jewelry(and to alleviate some of my bead-buying guilt). So I found myself in «need» of some new beads. My previous visit to a bead store left me feeling lost, so I ended up buying beads at pricey Michaels and the online crap shoot.(As in… holy crap… what did I order…12 mm is BIG.) Luckily a friend stepped in and pointed me to Beads Unlimited. Aaaaaaah. I was instantly greeted by their super friendly staff, wanting to know how I was doing, what was I looking for, how much experience did I have and would I like something to drink. This stellar customer service momentarily distracted me from the sparklies. Momentarily. Then my magpie complex kicked in(ooooh…shiny). Luckily she took me to the bargain room first where lots and lots and lots of strands are to be found at $ 2 – 3 a piece, but look like they cost much more than that(and would in Michaels). Next I ventured to the main room… pricier, but still reasonable. Beads range from basic to jaw dropping. They have tons of findings and supplies and the super helpful staff will give you tips on what techniques and supplies are best. Their cut gemstones are beautiful(though a bit beyond my current skill level.) They also have a selection of jewelry for sale to serve as inspiration or temptation, whichever the case may be. In the end I got a fantastic array of beads, including a couple of impulse splurges. Still it came out less than I expected. I also signed up to be on their email list to be notified of their weekly sales and specials. This store is truly fantastic and will no doubt be my go-to bead store. Note that purses or other large bags will need to be locked up front. If that bothers you, be sure to lock yours in your car trunk before coming in.

This is my second favorite bead store in the DFW Metromess, and my favorite source for faceted semi-precious gemstones! The staff are delightful, the selection is incredible, and the location cannot be beat: the southeast corner of Royal Lane and I-35E. They also carry stringing supplies at prices that rival or beat those of ordinary retail craft stores. Add in their room full of discounted beads, and their cases of gorgeous imported sterling silver and gemstone jewelry … I just fall into this place for hours!
