As a jewelry designer and lover of beads, Beads of Splendor is absolute nirvana. They have everything you need to create something beautiful, from tools and classes to high quality strands of beads and findings. In addition, the owners are top-notch and their staff is a direct reflection of them– kind, helpful, respectful, knowledgeable, wildly creative and grateful for your business. I highly recommend this store to anyone. It is, without question, the best retail bead store in DFW and beyond!

I’ve shopped at this store for many years and am always struck by the very high quality of their merchandise — I’ve always said that if Splendor has it, it’s the best of what’s available — and by the expertise of the staff. I have many times gone in with projects at various stages of completion, asked for opinions and suggestions, and have always left with reignited enthusiasm for finishing my piece. I was a student at their very first jewelry-making class and teach there occasionally today, hopefully giving the same help I’ve received through the years! Splendor will always be my first, best stop for beautiful beads and the inspiration to make beautiful jewelry!

I honesty don’t know how they stay in business. I called ahead to make sure they had what I needed and was very specific. They girl on the phone assured me they had it. So, I drove half an hour out of my way. Sure enough, when I arrived, not only did they NOT have what I needed but everything was ridiculously overpriced. Who spends $ 12 on one strand of glass seed beads when you can get the same thing at hobby lobby for a buck? Their specialty beads were lovely, but again super overpriced($ 40 for one carved shell pendant). Waste of my time and gas.

Extremely nice selection of beads and stones, but the lady that helped me seemed rude, and kept pushing her classes. I think they are over priced as well, but it did look like they had some pretty unique pieces.
