Seriously this place is unreal! It’s so good my fave has to be the coconut kale enchiladas. You have to give this place a shot, Great options!

So delicious! Had the kale enchiladas, a rockstar juice and grabbed some chocolate donut holes to go. The food has so much flavor and the place itself is small, quaint and very clean. I’ll definitely be back.

I love my veggies, but never thought I could love them this much, especially being raw too, until I came here. Just looking at their pictures before coming here, they already won me with all their colorful dishes. Have I mentioned I’m a sucker for anything green? Yes, including green food, and this place has definitely delivered and satisfied my green addiction!!! I have a bad habit of planning my meals wayyy ahead of time. So many things I wanted to get when I came here. Decided to settle with their infamous coconut kale enchiladas and the green smoothie. They both were wonderfully delicious that I couldn’t stop thinking about their enchiladas, and came back 2 more times within a week just to get the green smoothie to go. The restaurant is fairly small and seems to cater for to go orders rather than a sit down place. Coming in around 7pm, I was a lil disappointed to see a completely empty restaurant. Guess most Dallas folks and Texans in general are carnivores at heart, being herbivores is still a strange concept. I really want this place to last and expand. Give them a try even if you’re not a fan of vegetables. They will change your mind about it. I guarantee!

Had a delicious dinner last Friday night on our date night at Be Raw! I am not a vegetarian but a seasoned foodie which loves vegetables and moderate meats. We started with the excellent California pizza which was fresh and delicious with avocado and pineapple. It was the perfect mix of sweet and slight salty! They also have Greek and Margherita raw pizza choices. For entrees we each had the Bliss Burger. It was delicious as well with a nice sweet crunch. We wanted to top it all off with a nice sweet bite so we split the cheesecake and we were pleasantly full. It was an awesome date night.

This rating is solely on the green juice drink. Walking in it can smell a little on the funny side, but I’m sure that has to do with the fresh healthy food that they serve. Although I was not hungry for a meal, I did come in for a green smoothie, which had avocado, kale and other green goods that blended so smoothly and amazingly delicious. The color green doesn’t necessarily in text me up a tight, but I found myself really liking this sweetie. I will definitely have to come back and try their food and other smoothies.

We inadvertently discovered this place after finding that our intended lunch locale was overcrowded. I was a little nervous at first because the lunch crowd that normally dominates this area was absent here. But boy am I glad we tried Be Raw. Such a wonderful surprise! My friend and I shared two items: the bliss salad and the raw pizza sampler. The salad had lots of flavor — you could really taste the cilantro and the basil — and was delicious with the ginger miso dressing. The pizza sampler was really good too. My favorite among the sampler was the margherita, which is topped with roma tomatoes, ricotta cheese, basil, garlic, and Italian herbs. Sure, it’s not your traditional pizza(it’s raw!), but the flavors of all the ingredients were all so distinct. It was delicious in its own way. Finally, my friend got the Rockstar juice to go and emailed me later after tasting the juice. Her exact words: «OMG, that juice is fantastic!» I look forward to returning to Be Raw and exploring the other items on their menu.

This is the best vegan restaurant in Dallas, and I’ve been to a couple. The food is both refreshing and delicious, with just the right amount of seasonings. I got the coconut enchilada and relished each bite. The idea behind the restaurant is intimidating at first, because you’re not sure if their food will taste good, being both raw and vegan, but TAKETHATCHANCE, ASITIS100% WORTHIT. I’ve been vegan for nearly 1 year now, and I now feel inspired to experiment more with making raw foods beyond just simple salads. Nobody should complain about the wait time, which really is not too long. They have a small kitchen, and you’re eating real food. Too many in our society have grown accustomed to McDonald’s type, pre-frozen, fast food, that they’ve forgotten that real food actually takes some time to prepare. One critique is that the menu prices could be cheaper. I’d come more often if all of the prices were 25−50% cheaper. But hey, I guess that has to do with supply and demand. Dallas needs more raw vegan restaurants! Let’s make this happen, Dallas. Another critique is that some of their products have added sugars and oils, which should be substituted out for more fibrous and nutritious alternatives, to better fit this restaurant’s health-focused message.

Not a vegan, but went here for the first time the other day with vegan friends. Got the Rawkos Tacos. Pleasantly surprised at how good they. If you’re big on presentation this is just the place for you. Desserts are a bit pricey in my opinion, but as far as the food goes, you get what you pay for!

Stopped in for a juice to go. I thought it was a juice bar but it’s more a restaurant. They do have packed juice in the fridge so I picked one out. It rang up to … $ 11. How can that be? I want to believe this must’ve been a mistake but I was too shocked to say anything so I don’t know. Wish I’d back out because it’s stupid that I paid $ 11 for juice. To top it off, the $ 11 juice is not good. The balance of flavors is not appealing — way too much grapefruit, very bitter. It was a one-star experience but I’m giving it 2 stars because I didn’t try any food so it’s a limited viewpoint.

This place is literally just A-OK. Food is pretty fresh and definitely raw, however service is lacking. My juice took about 35 minutes to come out and the waitress seemed to know nothing about the dishes on the menu. As is the case with most places like this, it’s extremely pricey for what you get-my meal was around $ 30 for a juice and entrée. Parking is somewhat limited as well. It is really nice to have this sort of concept in the DFW area.

I love that Dallas has such a diverse offering of foods, including vegetarian and vegan options. I’m not quite a vegetarian or vegan, but I’m trying to eat more plant-based foods. I really wasn’t sure to expect in terms of flavor at Be Raw. It turns out, you can season your plants just like you can meat! Of course! I visited Be Raw on a Friday afternoon during the lunch time. I was surprised to see that there were not many people in here, but if you haven’t been here, you’re missing out! This place should be fuller than a fast food chain at lunch! I ordered the taco salad which is made entirely of fruits, nuts, and veggies. Guacamole, sour«cream», red sauce… it was all there. There was even taco«meat» made of sunflower seeds. Trust me, you won’t miss the meat. The salad was bursting with flavor and seasoning. The veggies were fresh, crisp, and cold. The best part about this is the way I felt afterwards. It’s so true that you can eat an entire plate of healthy, natural foods and feel invigorated and full of energy afterwards. It’s very rare that I don’t want to take an afternoon nap after eating lunch. I can’t wait to go back to Be Raw and try some more of their popular dishes! If you want an unquestionably healthy, tasty meal, go here!

Seriously delicious! This place is small, cute, with a friendly staff.(We arrived 30 minutes before closing and were treated very kindly, no problems, and no issues when we ordered more to go for later) My husband tried the lasagna and really enjoyed it. A full plate of veggie and sauce stacked high with a baby greens side salad. I had the sushi. Their sesame seed«rice» is genius! I will absolutely be back!

I’m upping this one as the food is pretty delicious and clean. As in most raw restaurants the overall vibe is casual and the food is not necessarily low cal since they use a lot of nuts. On my most recent visit I found the service very pleasant if eminently casual. I had the phở which was boring and borderline bad since the zucchini noodles weren’t even soft and the broth was flavorless. I next had the bliss salad which is excellent. It’s on a big bed of greens and I was impressed there was not even one wilted piece. The miso dressing is light and enjoyable. Finally I had the raw spaghetti and meatballs. I really enjoyed this. It comes with a side salad which is basically the bliss salad size small. The noodles were great and the tomato sauce delectable. The walnut based meatballs were my favorite part. Highly recommend it for you Vedge heads although the casual scene doesn’t necessarily demand a visit.

My husband and I were doing a three day detox. I didn’t feel like cooking every day of it, so used that fact as a reason to check this place out. I am so happy that I trusted my fellow Unilocalers! They were right. This place is good, and healthy. I’d even eat here on a day I’m not doing a detox. My coconut kale enchiladas were darn near decadent. The cashew cream sauce was rich, and a perfect substitute for cheese sauce. The hubby’s tacos were packed with flavor. He actually enjoyed both dishes. That means a lot coming from a die hard meat eater like him. Food portions are quite filling. We split the chocolate bliss smoothie with spirullina. It was a lot sweeter than I make my smoothies, but it paired well with our savory dishes. I look forward to trying other menu items… that means you«pizza sampler.» :-)

The talent and creativity that went into the menu at Be Raw Food and Juice is worth 4 stars alone. Making raw food dishes that are similar to traditional«cooked» dishes takes a lot of imagination and artistry. This was my very first Raw Food restaurant that I’ve been to, so I can’t compare it to others. I didn’t know what to expect when I entered. I looked at the menu, and based on the reviews that I read on Unilocal,I knew I was going to try the coconut kale enchiladas. Along with the entrée, I ordered a bowl of corn chowder on the side. The«soup» came out first. I had to get used to the temperature. It was just like eating creamed corn right out of the can… which isn’t necessarily bad. I got used to it and began to enjoy the flavors of the fresh corn. The enchiladas came out next. Again, the temp took a little getting used to, but I did. The«tortillas» had a distinct coconut flavor to them. Surprisingly, they combined with the kale filling and the bountiful sauces heaped on the top. The only thing that I wasn’t totally on board with was the amount of sauce on top. It was literally smothered with them. They had great flavor though, and brought the whole dish together. Normally, I’m not a dessert guy, but in this case, it was the star of the show. The cheesecake is awesome! Sweet, and creamy… topped with chocolate sauce. So good! Be Raw is a definite«must see» and«must eat»! You can go experience raw food art, and leave feeling like you did something good for your body at the same time!

We were looking for a healthy place for a quick snack so we picked this place. Here’s a break down of what we had: Coconut Kale Enchiladas-I liked these. Corn Chowder– I thought this was weird. I wish it had been warm. Pad Thai-I didn’t care for this. It left me craving hot Pad Thai with shrimp… that’s probably why I’m not vegan. California Rolls-I wouldn’t get this again. I didn’t like the sauce and it was weird. California Pizza-I loved the pineapple pizza on this. It was actually very refreshing. Greek Pizza-I liked the cucumber on this. I’m usually not a fan of hummus, but it wasn’t overpowering. This place left me craving a brownie so I tried theirs. It was made out of dates, cocoa powder, walnuts, and agave. Probably the best vegan brownie I’ve ever had. I would come back for this and try it warmed up. But now I have to go have a protein shake and meet my macros. vegan protein

So many amazing things to try here — the green smoothie is just delicious, perfect for breakfast! The coconut kale enchiladas are so flavourful, the blend of sauces really add to the experience. The raw pizzas are such a great appetizer to share. It’s a cute spot — vibe is relaxing, staff is friendly and food is delish! I didn’t so much like the California rolls, was a bit too dry for my taste. Given its location and the few raw vegan options around, I really enjoyed it while visiting dallas.
