I’ve been at BCOR since Sept. 13, 2010. If you want a great boot camp that pushes you without yelling at you military style, BCOR — Dallas is the way to go. They have several locations and schedules to work with your own schedule, so it’s very convenient. You pay one low price(which by the way, you may find discounts regularly on Groupon or Living Social) for a month’s worth of unlimited workouts at any or all of the locations. And the trainers are very motivating, whether you choose the 6:00pm class or 6:00AM class. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and make class a fun challenge. You meet at your location, where you are greeted by the trainers and the rest of the«veteran» campers and newbies alike. If you come a little early, you have time to ask questions, make small talk, and form new friendships. Bring a [large] bottle of water and a towel — a lot of the workout outside can be done on the ground and it’s nice to have a cushion for your hands and/or knees. At the class starting time, you begin a basic warm up with a light jog and stretching/light cardio exercises. After warm up, you choose your intensity — are you new to the group and to working out? Light intensity may be best. Are you looking for an extra challenge or are you a regular exerciser? High or moderate intensity will work. And you can pick a different intensity on any day — if you’re feeling down one day, go low, but if the next you’re feeling like you can kick it up a notch, go high. You work in groups where most people are at the same level so you don’t feel pressured or over worked, just motivated. Each day is a different focus of the body — lower body, upper, core, cardio, etc., so it keeps the workouts fun and doesn’t over work any particular area. Once the main workout is over, all of the groups come back together and cool down as a group. You may think while you’re in the midst of your hour-long workout that you are truly going to give out at any moment, but by the time cool-down comes up, you are thinking to yourself, «It wasn’t that bad after all!!» And you’re ready for the next class. ;-) I’ve done one of the other«greatest in DFW» boot camps, and I can say honestly, BCOR is the way to go. They welcome you with open arms, give you the same quality, challenging workout, and allow you to open up and be yourself. You can meet new people and make friends without feeling left out because you’re new. All walks of life, all fitness levels. BCOR works with you to make you the best YOU. BCOR — «It’s the best part of my day!»
