An excellent place to hang. Neighborhood is less then desirable, but the food, drinks and service more then makeup for the neighborhood!!! Karaōke is good too, most of the people can actually sing which is more then I can say about other places that do karaōke. Bartender and waitress are very friendly and the service is great! They have pool tables, bar games, dart. I will definitely be a return customer possibly even become a regular. I give it a 5 star rating because of the food, drinks and service!!!

I’m over 50 and ‘take him or leave him’ on Elvis but the other Kerry must not have been in the same bar I was in. I like it! Gritty. Real. I’m not big on Karaōke but they were get’n after it and the music was good; surprisingly, almost all of them could sing! I was attending a wedding party so I didn’t get a chance to socialize with some of the other folks there but lots of smiles and everyone seemed like they were having a good time. Nice vibe to the place. A couple of beers later and a Jameson to savor life’s sweetness and I was on my way home. I’ll go back. Interesting mix of folks. The waitresses were the real deal… Teflon coated so the bullshit doesn’t stick.

This place was a last minute decision and so glad we went. This reminds me of my favorite bar in Jacksonville only plus karaōke and a few creepy guys. All in all it was a good mixed crowd of young and old, pool, darts, nudie photo hunt, cheap drinks, good service and close to home. Excited to make it a more regular place to go(as far as going out to bars… which is not all that regular. =D).

A good night on the town bar although seeming secluded from society. Knows how to make a stiff drink. The Karaōke is, ehh. okay.

This place scared me but I am glad to know it exists. Very friendly waitresses who obviously put up with a lot. Go just to see the hottie sing a bad ass version of the True Blood theme song. That was surreal! If you like cigarettes and guilt then get here!

After a wedding reception on Saturday night, Shannon R and I were invited to meet up with some friends(hi Megan). On our way we went. When we showed up Shannon was going to pay me to not make her go inside. The neighborhood definitely seemed shady, but having trust in my friends, I made her get out of the car. Walking in my first thoughts was, hey, this is an awesome neighborhood divey kind of bar. I love places like this! You know the type of place that looks like it’s been around forever with out much updates. Yep, that’s the way Bandera is. I had a couple beers, some $ 1 jello shots, and a shot of jäger, all for under $ 20, including tip. Score! There was karaōke when we were there so it was fun watching people sing and just kicking back in a no-frills type place.

Wow, no reviews on this place? Shocked! It’s really good. Okay, not 5 starts because of the neighborhood it’s in, but me and my bf really like this place. The staff is friendly, the food is to die for. He had a huge plate of fried shrimp, I had the most incredible enchiladas, numerous drinks and shots and got out right at 50 bucks before the tip. Thursday is Karaōke, which I don’t do, but I enjoy watching. This place is mostly full of regulars but me and Kevin made friends right away. Try this place, you won’t be disappointed.
