I always enjoy dropping 50 bones for a room at the Avalon. Great location, good views of the skyline, and friendly staff. The cats in the parking lot are also pretty cool.

Had good cable TV, a working ac unit pulled away from the wall and hot water, also bed bugs and cockroaches as well as a layer of dirt on every surface, could be cute and cozy if effort were made, trash always full/overflowing and debris everywhere outside. Had decent weekly rate but a ridiculous $ 50 a night for these conditions…

Very historic place, not a typical 5 star corporate place, but very clean. Great price. Family friendly. Overall great place.
