Applebee’s

This was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my 24 years on this planet. Everyone looked like they had their hands in their pockets twiddling with their thumbs. The manager tried to defend his actions by saying that he was just there for one day one day or not you have an obligation to be the manager, the team leader make sure everyone falls in line and does their job. I really hate to speak bad on a restaurant but for Pete sakes they messed up my salad and then proceeded to tell me that I ordered it wrong it’s an Oriental chicken salad with fried chicken not grilled if I wanted grilled I would’ve asked because that was stated as a second item underneath the fried chicken oriental salad. My nachos tonight were the worst I have ever had it felt like I was chewing on a piece of blubber. and to top it all off he brought me the wrong drink 3 times and continue to charge me for those three even after I complained about it. So that is why I will never return and I told everybody to doublecheck before you go to this Applebee’s and I probably will never step foot in another Applebee’s restaurant due to this experience. Thank you if you chose to read this and understand I went in there with good intentions.

We had a pleasant experience here. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive. We were seated in the bar area, and everything we saw of the restaurant was clean. I have to remove some stars, though, because our food was underwhelming. It wasn’t bad, just not very flavorful.

Ok. This place. It’s a dive bar (though I don’t think they know it) The dinning areas could be cleaner and there’s always water on the floor for some reason (maybe i’ve only been after it’s rained)? But the bar and bar area are usually more to my liking. I was having new tires put on my car down the street lastweek (Discount Tire) and I didn’t want to just sit there so I walked to Applebee’s. I ordered 2 Bombay Martini and they were good and as boozy as I make them at home (and that’s really saying something… lol) So if you are in the area and want to have a drink and enjoy a sometimes very lively bar environment give Applebee’s in Lake H a shot.

Walked in and no body to seat us. The ENTIRE restaurant was so disgusting. We were about to be seated in a filthy ass booth. They handed us completely soaked menus, table was sticky as hell. My stomach turned. We left within sixty seconds of being seated. So so gross. What is WRONG with this place?

Yes I love it Applebees in Lake Highlands the reason I give it a three star is because sometimes when we have came here he ordered our food hasn’t been up to par however, the servers are awesome. Ask for iesha because she is awesome

We’ve eaten at this location a lot over the years. It was once a great place to stop for a late meal or snack on the way home after seeing a show downtown (it’s one of the only restaurants with a kitchen still open after 10 p.m.), but after our last experience we probably won’t be back. The service has been reliably abominable for a couple of years, as others have noted and which needs no further elaboration from me. This time, we had to endure a cloud of cigarette smoke from a couple standing just outside the front door in order to enter the restaurant. Then, the floor under and around the booth where we were seated was filthy with debris from other people’s meals. The table was sticky, and so was the carpet underneath. There was a strong and unpleasant smell from a previous meal — I’m guessing from a sauce or dressing that was spilled nearby and never thoroughly cleaned. This was honestly the first time I have ever been to a restaurant and wondered whether it was safe to eat the food, the place was that filthy (I did, though, and no ill effect). Our server delivered our meals and then left us to stare at it for several minutes while she went to look for silverware and napkins. As we left, the crowd of smokers just outside the front door had grown to half a dozen or so, punctuating a really terrible dining experience. The food was, I must acknowledge, exactly what we expected. That’s what had kept us coming back — once you find something you like, you can expect a remarkable consistency when you order again. But the restaurant itself needs a deep cleaning, and the staff needs some basic training.

Great fun place to go friendly bartenders waitresses wonderful food

Great location to have some cheap drinks with friends. Food is sometimes alittle on the yawn side but they make up for it in great drinks and appetizers. I don’t understand how the food is boring but appetizers are off the chain. Anyways half price appetizers after 10 and there is always drink specials. And the staff is always friendly and helpful.

We were seated rather quickly and had our orders taken quickly as well. The service was good and so was the food. But the best part of the meal was the delicious drink (rum punch) we had. I so could have had a few of them but the cop in the corner was making me nervous. I would certainly return here again!

Umm all I can say is I got here around 5 and left around 10pm
let me explain to you why i was at an applebees for 5 hours… the last time i was at applebees was about 10 years ago in waco, theworst part of the night was the all you can eat shietlets aka the riblets… the best part of that night was this waitress god bless her soul asked us to «teach me some asian» so we taught her how to say hello in korean, only it wasnt hello it was a womans private parts… dont f with us
$ 1 dollar beers and $ 2 you call its… again, $ 1 dollar beers and $ 2 you calls its fool… who the f does this and thinks they can get away with this? Applebee’s thats who
my tab was like 20 bucks… i had to check my bank acct twice because the next day i couldnt understand how i got so blitzed and only 20 bucks was spent… i still dont understand it to be honest with you but there are things you just do not question in life
the beers on draft are a buck and come in 8 oz mugs which is fine with me… long islands and bahama mammas all fing night long bra
why did nobody tell me about this deal? why dont applebees advertise this more? why is it when you break the seal you have to keep going? why do i have no off switch?
