As long as you understand the danger, this place is good. I’m a regular rider and I brought my own good gear and I knew how to operate a 2 wheeled vehicle already. It’s a really cool operation and a good way to see downtown when you live out of town and can’t ride your own. The guy who rented them to us was really nice and accomodating and it was in a good location too.

We went on a three-hour tour… and it was awesome. I’m familiar with the back roads of beautiful Dallas so it was an easy tour from Whiterock Lake, Downtown to Bishop District. They are 50 cc scooters but definitely get the job done. I had never ridden on anything else but a bicycle, after a few turns in the parking lot, it was easy to maneuver. It cost $ 2 to fill up two scooters after the journey. It was fun & I look forward to riding again.

Did an all day scooter rental and had lots of fun with the scooter. They are the cheap Chinese made ones but they were still good enough for a rental. I wish automobile drivers on the road would be more courteous to the scooters and bicycles, we encountered several angry drivers who cut us off and tailgated us even when we were going the speed limit! All in all, it was a fun afternoon riding to the Bishop Arts District and to West End where we stopped for ice cream. I highly recommend Apache Rental!
