Chika was appointed as counsel by Dallas County court, and she held up to the«court appointed attorney» stereotype with her unwillingness to empathize and piss poor attitude, as well as inability to explain in depth the processes that were going on. With a bad attitude, prosecutorial demeanor of the client all while serving as a defense attorney, I would say this was a bad card to be dealt to have her appointed, as she displayed she did not seem to care about her clients or the outcome. She seems to be in the judge’s pocket so there is no point in asking for substitute counsel.
