American Memorial Grave Markers & Caskets

If you ever need to order a grave marker for a loved one I would suggest you stay away from these guys. I placed an order and payed for it in full over 3 months ago and I’m still waiting.

Last year my dad passed away and me and my sister made the biggest mistake of going to these people to order a gravestone for my dad. These guys run one of the worst business establishments that I have dealt in years.
We wanted to order a very simple design grave marker and the gave us this kid who looked like he had just started working with them. He was totally clueless and didn’t even know how to take simple notes. I had to correct and tell him how to write notes and do his job. He kept writing things down wrong. After dealing with this kid for months he suddenly disappeared and there went all the documents and papers we signed with him. Suddenly the didn’t have any records of all the months of work we had with them. We also found out that the kid that they put in charge of taking care of my dad’s grave marker is now in jail.
The first proof we received in email for approval was totally wrong. They totally did everything wrong on the design that we asked for. missed words, incorrect dates, misspelled words, wrong logos, etc. They are totally clueless and should not be in business.
Every email we sent for revisions was not answered, Every time we called for help, either the fax machine answered or we were told that someone will call us back and we never heard back. After multiple emails and phone calls, we finally went back in person and the same idiot was put in charge of fixing the issues. Well we went through the same cycle of mess every time.
It took almost 5 months of going back and forth with these people to finally give up. They are horrible at communication. They are horrible at customer service and they don’t know how to run their business. The owners are both in their late 80s and even though I have no problem with age, these guys should have retired LONG ego because they have no business running a business anymore. They have no memory of what you tell them, they will not keep records of what you ask them to do, I don’t even believe they know how to use an email correctly.
After trying for 5 months of getting things right with these people, we finally gave up and asked for a refund because they did not produce anything. The owner refused to give our money back even though they made my dads passing a much worse experience that it should have been.
If you want to deal with a totally incompetent business establishment, that will make your loved ones passing a much worse experience, then you these are the guys to go to.
