Probably the nicest office I’ve ever been to. These people are thorough on their work, makes sure your visits are comfortable, and they treat you like you’re part of their friends circle all the while being professional and work your appointments as efficiently as possible. I’m so glass they’re just down the street from me. Dentist appointments can be scary! But with them I always look forward to my appointments.

I own Northlake Health Food next door to American Family Dental and have known them for years! The staff is absolutely amazing and the dentist do great work. My entire family goes to Dr. Shatto and Dr. LaGrange. Keep up the good work!

I went to Dr. Shatto to replace aging veneers with eight crowns. It involved around nine or ten office visits over the course of about three months. I’m very pleased with the appearance of the crowns, and in my opinion, the end result makes up for the difficulties I had during the process. Dr. Shatto also did my husband’s invisalign some years ago, and his smile turned out lovely as well.
I would recommend this dentist for cosmetic crowns with the caveat that I felt that my concerns were inappropriately dismissed on a couple very specific occasions, including one instance that resulted in mismanagement of my pain during gum packing. As a former litigator, I don’t think I’m exactly a pushover, but apparently it takes some greater level of assertiveness to be taken seriously by the dentist. Like I said, though, I felt the result was worth the abuse, and I’d do it all over again.

Great office, friendly staff and Dr. Shatto always makes going to the dentist a good experience.
