Absolutely terrible service.
I had an appointment at 7:50 in the morning, since I work full time and I didn’t want to have to take a chunk out of the middle of my day. When I scheduled the appointment I was sure to ask how much time I should put aside for the meeting. The receptionist/​hygienist said «An hour and a half to be safe».
I got there on time and waited for 10 minutes to be pulled into a room, which is expected at most doctor’s offices but still annoying. I then proceed to sit and wait in the room until 8:20. When I saw a hygienist walk by my area I asked how much longer would I have to wait. I had scheduled this appointment to have a routine cleaning and my cavities filled… I was already a half hour into my appointment and I hadn’t had any work done. She replied «Doctor Sergie said it would be 30 more minutes». I laughed and walked out.

Not knowledgeable at all and dishonest about giving all options of treatment. He is a good salesman (he told me he liked me, he would give me a good deal, he’ll keep me healthy). I came to Dr. Sergie with malocclusion (bad bite) that was caused by my previous dentist. Dr Sergie made my bad bite terribly worse. His work is totally a guess. He gave me a regular splint that any dentist offers (exactly the same treatment) for $ 600. Dr Sergie charged over $ 2000 for the treatment. He convinced me that my joints moved and will never go back; (no x-​rays) were taken to confirm it. During the splint treatment my symptoms got much worse, and he ignored all of them. At the end of the treatment he ground my teeth, guessed where my bite should be and ruined my bite completely. He never stabilized my jaw before grinding my teeth (equilibration).
Never let your dentist grind your teeth, because it will make your life a nightmare.
There are only a few neuromascular dentists in Dallas who had a special training to recognize malocclusion and TMJ, relax you muscles (not with muscle relaxers, that don’t work) and find the proper bite where muscles, joints and bones work in harmony. They use TENS units, K-​7 and T-​scan (there is no guessing). Dr. Sergie is not an occlusion specialist as he claims.
A year ago I had perfect teeth, until dentists like Dr Sergie misdiagnosed and tried to «adjust» my bite by grinding my teeth.

Dr. Sergie, Hayley and the entire team are wonderful to be around. They always make you feel at home from the moment you walk in the office. I highly recommend In Focus Dentistry. For many of us going to the dentist is not something we enjoy. Coming here has made all the difference in the world. Dr. Sergie listens to your requests and caters to your needs.
