Scamming Company — Did not provide the service they charged for.
I believe I was scammed by the «technician» into «refilling» the AC unit with Freon when it should not have been necessary for a house less than 4y old with a high end system like mine — the Freon level was not reported to me before the «refill» which I believe never happened.
The technician took the opportunity of me working and did not give me a quote before doing this service. He just dropped the charge on me not giving me any choice.
He gave me the same scenario as he gives to other people — see the reviews on Unilocal
. He gave me exactly the same talk than the first review describes and that’s a pretty bad sign…
I don’t believe the cleaning was done properly, all my vents are still full of dust. The technician was mostly in the van with his headphones on during the whole visit, or he was just talking without really doing the work.
This visit was supposed to be 4h in order to do the work, they ended up arriving late and leaving around an hour later, this is another sign of the fact that they did not perform the service expected.
I should not be charged for a service that did not happen, I tried to find a resolution with the merchant but did not receive any positive response as the manager of this texas location says that he never makes any mistakes… ever.

These guys are a big joke. They are running a flier in moneymailer for $ 99whole house air duct cleaning, free electrostatic filter, AC duct inspection, dryer vent cleaning, etc. They say they clean the dryer vent. If sticking a shop vac in the dryer vent is cleaning it, then they did the job. They run a HEPA vacuum on one air duct vent for 20 minutes or so. They visually look in the other air ducts from the floor, don’t get on ladders or open up the air vents. They then want to charge you $ 20 per air return to have it cleaned. To do this the guy runs the shop vac over the outside grill and states that is cleaning it. This is a joke of a company. Run, don’t waste your money on this. To get a real air duct cleaning you have to run a vacuum and brush through each air vent all the way to the AC system.

We just bought a house and I wanted the air ducts cleaned. Through one of the vents I could see a spider web. After the guy left I curiously looked through the vent. The spider web was still there. If the air suction on their cleaning equipment isn’t strong enough to dislodge a spider web I don’t think it’s strong enough to clean much.
I contacted the company 6 times, but they never replied.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! These people are con artists. They will rip you off. They changed a capacitor and added 3 lbs of freon and charged over $ 600. I will never go with this company again and recommend obtaining another opinion before deciding on the repairs. They are very dishonest and if I could give them less than one star I would.

I had this company come out yesterday to clean my air ducts. They were running a coupon in a mailer for this service. They came out and hooked up a machine to one vent of the house, and ran it for about 20 – 30 minutes. Meanwhile they inspected the vents, AC unit, and HVAC unit. They claimed that the AC unit was 2.5 lbs low on freon and that we had a mold problem. They said they opened up the HVAC unit and saw mold growing all in it, and then pointed out that a few of our vents had mold growing on them.
We immediately had another HVAC company come out for a second opinion. This second company opened up the HVAC unit and inspsected it with me, and showed me that there was absolutley no mold growth in the HVAC unit. They also checked the freon level and said it was at a perfect level, and did not need any freon whatsoever.
Clearly, AC PROS Air Conditioning are con artist trying to charge $ 90 a lbs to recharge our AC unit with 2.5 lbs that it did not need, and try to sell us on $ 500 to over $ 1,000 packages to remove the mold they said they saw growing in our HVAC unit that was not there.
They did a terrible job cleaning the vents, which is what we had them out to do in the first place, and to top it off, they tried to con us on hundreds to a thousand plus dollars of service that we did not need.
I’m having a mold expert come out next to inspect the vents showing mold to see if they are just dirty or if they do indeed have mold growing on them, but the HVAC unit for sure did not have mold growing in it as AC PROS Air Conditioning claimed.
Do not use this company, they will rip you off, provide piss pore vent cleaning, and try to con you into buying additional services you do not need.
