I’m totally a fan of this 99 cent store! I’ve bought produce, tape, gift supplies, batteries, tissue, spices, kitchen supplies, calendars, flour, condiments, v8 juice, lemonade, snacks… many of which are popular brands! If you don’t mind not doing a one stop shop at a big box store, you could increase your savings by scratching a few things off of your list here. You gotta know what’s good though(check ingredients) and make this store work for you. I typically stay away from the dairy and meats. They’re usually low quality and I don’t trust the refrigeration. Don’t buy everything… check the dates on food items… and more importantly, pray over the things you bring into your home(regardless of where it’s from). I’ll be back!

I love a good dollar stores and the 99 cent only store is one of my favorite. Like any dollar store they carry a range of products some that are lower quality but will work in a pinch. But this one does have a range of good that are still reasonably priced anywhere from$ 1.99-$ 4.99 and many of them are name brand. They have a large selection of close out merchandise which would normally cost more than $ 1. It is hit or miss sometime you walk out with a basket full of things and sometime with a few odds and ends. This location could be a little bit more tidy but for them most part it is well organized and laid out. Will continue to be one of my o to dollar stores.

Not only is the store way more Upgraded. but the people that work there are awesome. One does stand out a bit more tho. His name is Todd. I think he is the manger there. Wow, always freindly smile and quick to point out a deal. He just makes shopping there that much better. Keep up the good work. P. s. love the new layout.

Cheap deals no thrills. You get what you pay for. But there are a lot of items for anyone’s fancy.

Really cool store. Much larger selection than I imagined, though that larger selection results in a lot of things that are both under and over $ 0.99. Not everything is a terrific value, but many things are. You need to look before you grab. Much more brand name product than other similar stores. Very clean with more than ample parking. I will be back for sure if in the area.

Oh my god. This is 99 cent heaven! Well, 99.99 cent heaven… This 99 cent store, though it does contain some items that cost more than 99 cents, also contains items that cost LESS than 99 cents. For example, I got a ‘no fly zone’ fly swatter for 69 cents, and a board game that asks the question ‘can you and your friends survive the truth?’ cost 299 cents. Don’t be fooled by your prior notions of dollar stores, this location has EVERYTHING. It actually has the most extensive kitchen section I’ve seen in a long time — way more stuff than even Target. Dishes, timers, drain mesh things, flavor injectors, an egg scrambler that scrambles the egg inside it’s shell, potato mashers, 10 kinds of spatulas, etc. They also have a relatively large ‘food’ section, containing a ton of prepackaged bulk items(granola bars, cookies, cereal), as well as refrigerated and freezer items(sugar free fudge bars, hell yes!), AND wine! Now, I’m sure the wine brands carried are unrecognizable, but that wine is cheap, and sometimes you just want some cheap wine. The candy section is also huge, as is the assortment of canned foods, holiday decorations, personal hygiene items, and toys. If you like big lots, you’ll love this 99 cent store. Way bigger, way bigger discounts, way more fun to shop in.

I stopped in while my daughter was at a birthday party nearby and I was very impressed. I found the fancy schmancy Good Home Company dryer sheets that I sometimes spoil myself with selling for $ 2.00. They normally retail for $ 14.50 ! I also got some small potted mums for $ 1 each, and onion and garlic bulbs too. Be careful, because not everything is $ 1, but everything I’ve seen is significantly discounted. I’m seeing other reviewers warn against the food. One of my favorite buys was approximately a pound of fresh asparagus spears for $ 1. Of course you have to inspect everything carefully and always check the dates on packaged products. The english cucumbers were soft, so I bought the small pickling cucumbers instead. I think the inventory rotates frequently, I’m not sure I can expect to find my coveted Good Home Company products next time I’m there, but I’m sure I will find something else irresistible!

This store is a mixed bag for me. Dollar stores in general are not carrying the highest quality of merchandise and lets face it… you’re not going there for the customer service. But this store is unique in that if offers some items such as milk and groceries that many other dollar stores don’t. The problem is in the quality of the groceries. Walking in here one day, my nose was filled with the stench of rotting fruit. Sure enough, 4 apples for a dollar… but most of them were soft, close to spoiling or already spoiled. There were more flies than there were people. Ok so… one bad experience. All the other times I’ve been in here have not been bad. There is a nice cookie section with many different types of chemically enhanced, preserved filled goodies. Don’t expect health food. Over all the store is clean and not too cluttered. The staff isn’t the friendliest but hey… we’re not trying to make best friends at the dollar store. Parking lot is plentiful but there are a few«panhandlers» trying to make their way in life… throw them a buck or two if you’re feeling generous.

Oh my goodness. I barely knew what to expect when we stopped in this 99 cent store located at Live Oak and Carroll but I had a feeling the people watching itself should be stellar and the items inside would be the icing on the cake. While both of these things were more than true, I still found some stuff to buy… that’s how I roll. They have quite the large selection of dishware and glassware in here! Perfect idea if you are needing to get some items for that first apartment in college or even that old crackhouse too! Cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, etc are all 99 cents and ya know it isn’t the most awesome brand(or any brand you have ever heard of before) but if you are broke it could save you some cash. Dog section actually had some name brand canned food there and even some Milk Bone toys! Oh and I ended up with some St Patrick’s Day buttons to hand out. One thing that made me almost bust out laughing was the bra section. Why on earth does a padded bra need… a…built-in…NIPPLE? It was made right into the cup in case you want to look like your headlights are on all day long! Get it girl. I would avoid the food section because this stuff just looked a little old and… ewwww. However, I think the pepper and salt and spices section looked ok. And they had every flavor of Crush — orange, grape, cherry, strawberry… MMM! So if you are looking for some household items for cheap, this might not be a bad stop. Watch out for the crazies in the store and parking lot and start shopping. If you are looking for food items… eh…AVOID!
