Governor Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge

This is the bridge on US 301 that connects Virginia and Maryland, just north of Dahlgren. The entire area is growing, and the roads have simply not kept up. This pathetic 2-​lane bridge is a perfect example of that. We drove through here for he first time in years with the thought of possibly buying property in the area, never imagining that the bridge had never been upgraded. But that bridge absolutely turned us off. We won’t be investing here!
