Walmart Neighborhood Market

This place is great and very convenient. There’s no long lines, staff is very friendly and helpful and the store itself is very well kept.
I love going here to grocery shop instead of the Super Center.

Seriously. Am I writing Walmart review? The most reviled and most shopped of brick and mortar retailers. Really? Just hear me out. I didn’t know that Walmart Neighborhood Markets even existed. It’s not your Walmart Super Center with the cliched and infamous «People of Walmart». As the name suggests it is a smaller «neighborhood market». Take your typical grocery store and reduce it to about ¾ size and that’s pretty much what you get. This location is convenient to our home and it’s not near as crowded as it’s big brother Walmarts or even your typical HEB or Kroger Grocery Store. It is a quick in and out for your grocery staples without wading through the oceans of humanity you normally encounter in a grocery store. It’s back to basics groceries that some of us grew up with sans clothing, electronics, and patio furniture. Its a clean, organized, and efficient shopping experience. Certainly not what I expected from a «Walmart». Maybe they are on to something?

Great to run in for a gallon of milk or loaf of bread… a few last minute things. I use the pharmacy here and they are fantastic! I agree with many others, produce is not to great. Cashiers here are very friendly and store always clean.

I guess the whole concept of a Walmart neighborhood market totally flew by me. I had no idea these existed. I went in looking for a regular walmart but it was only food! Now i know. and knowing is half the battle…-___–

Expect your medicine to be ready when you get there? Go somewhere else.
SLOWEST pharmacy ever!!! Standard response, after you arrive, is 20 minutes which means 30 actual minutes. They will not begin to fill your prescription until you show up.
Walmart on 249 at Antoine will send automated call that your prescription is ready while you’re still in doctor’s parking lot! They are that fast!
This location cannot be bothered! This was the third and last strike.

There is no torture quite as cruel as a checkout line at night at a Walmart Supercenter. That said, this Neighborhood Walmart is, to some extent, the solution. This small grocery-​only store is much smaller, manageable, and friendly than the usual Walmart. While their selection is limited, and the produce can be iffy, it ranks high on the convenience and value scale. Good folks.

I don’t go grocery shopping here. I go when I need one thing or something in the non perishable section. I wouldn’t eat their produce regularly. we have gotten home a bag of salad and the next morning it is literally completely unusable. It’s wal mart, so I don’t expect much as far as service, and their store is a lot cleaner than most wal marts. I go at night most of the time, and they don’t have a ton of carts in the lot or anything. They tend to keep things in stock pretty well, you know still keeping in mind its wal mart. Overall if you just need a box of Bisquick and don’t want to drive that far its worth the trip, if you need groceries for your house then Kroger is not that much farther down the road and way more worth the gas.

Well, this review is ultra bad!!! My friend and I just went to get our nails done at Wal-​mart in Cypress, and we noticed about 30 minutes after getting them done they had a LOT of mistakes! It is uneven, cheeped, and when they buffed it they didn’t buff the WHOLE nail it isn’t on the sides!!! My sister that looked at them and she is saying they aren’t even solar like we asked and payed for they are aculac they feel really weak and like they are bout to fall of… Also the ladies that were doing our nails we racing!!! The lady who was doing my nails started first and the lady who was doing my friends nails finished like 5 minutes earlier and they had kept looking at each others progress! I do not suggest going there to get your nails done just pay 10 extra dollars on something that well most likely last a LOT longer!!!
