If a chipotle and a subway had a lovechild, the result would be this place. The«kebap» is a cross between a burrito and a sandwich with your choice of beef/lamb, chicken, or falafel. I went beef/lamb and loaded up with spring mix, sauce, and feta cheese. $ 8 and change out the door. I will be back. The establishment is clean. The service was fast, and the staff was friendly. The food was really good.

Initially, I was a little skeptical but I’m glad I dropped in for lunch! I got a salad with chicken on it. I chose the garlic sauce and the spicy sauce. And it was delicious. I also added a side of sweet potato fries. YUM! The service was fast and the employees were really polite. Check it out!

Great food and wonderful customer service. We’d love to see this pop up in Pearland, TX, and only complaint is no wheat Kebap or wrap option. Looking forward to coming again!

The«kebaps» are fantastic. Juicy, tender meat paired with fresh veggies on bread you don’t have to feel guilty for eating. You can also do a tortilla or a salad, but we wanted to try their specialty. My wife got the chicken and I got the beef/lamb original. Both were fantastic. Their sweet potato fries are amazing, but the Cuvée Coffee iced coffee thing we shared was quite possibly the 2nd worst thing I’ve ever drank, second only to PF Chang’s ginger soda. It tastes like someone washed dishes in iced coffee and then served it. Blah. They also have tap beers, bottle sodas, fountain Coke products, and water. If you’re near one and want something tasty but different, swing by. Just avoid the dishwater coffee.

Simply fantastic! Had never been there before so was a little unsure about how the whole process worked but both the people working there were extremely helpful. The meet was fantastic, the vegetables were very fresh, and their sauces are awesome! Again, the real difference was in the staff, they were above and beyond at making is comfortable and explaining everything to us

Food wise Solid 3.5 Customer service Solid 5 These guys actually came out to the outside seating section to ask how was the food and if i needed anything. They didn’t want to pay off my student loans. Frugal meter 2.5 $ 10 for a sandwich and drink isn’t ideal pricing. They need a combo meal for the same price to make my frugal meter more pleased Overall 4 star experience. Definitely ask for samples of the meats and the sauces. If you want some Mediterranean flair for you who come to Vert’s. Here you will find a variety of meats and sauces to tease your taste buds. Very friendly staff. Open until 10pm and free WiFi.

Seriously great place to grabs healthy meal for a good price. We both got the beef kabap, loaded with veggies and their garlic sauce– could not have been happier! Our group ordered a small French fry and a falafel– I could go back as just order the falafel– crazy good! We don’t live in the area, but will make sure we make it back to this awesome place next time we are in town.

First time ever coming here as I was looking for a nice Mediterranean food spot. I’m no connoisseur but the food was good, didn’t knock my socks off but it was good. They make right in front of you and the falafel was fresh out of the fryer. The lamb and beef sandwich was good and the vegetables tasted fresh. Overall I enjoyed it and will be back to sample other menu items. The staff was really friendly and welcoming and offered their opinion on the sauces for the falafel which I appreciated.

We saw this chain come in awhile back and didn’t know what it was so we decided to give it a try. We were glad we did! This review is long overdo. This is a Mediterranean restaurant that has very fast service. The ordering setup is similar to subway. They have a spinning rotisserie of meat that you get to see when you order your food. The food is fresh and is infront of you behind a counter and you get to choose what you want. The staff has always been friendly and talkative. If you have any questions they will be more than happy to help. I get the wrap with chicken, lettuce, peppers, feta cheese, and their house dressing. The house dressing is yogurt based and is delicious. The interior of the restaurant is clean and has an industrial type feel. They have a few tables outside as well. On a cool day it is nice to sit outside. If you haven’t tried it, give it a try! The food is great and is different from the usual Cypress food selections.

I’m torn to give 5 stars or NOSTARS… I’m going with 1 star because I want corporate to see this as that I have both a love and a hate to address here: Love: I was thrilled to finally try this place. The staff is friendly and courteous, friendly and fast. The management(Tyler) is attentive and seemed to genuinely care that the patrons have a positive experience. I have had 5 star service EVERY time I’ve gone in. Since my first visit I have been in at least once a week. So staff, management, ambiance, food I’ve eaten, etc: 5 stars. HATE: I am deeply saddened, and want to give Verts Korporate NOSTARS. It seems there has been a decision to remove the Veggie Patties from their menu. As a vegetarian(ok mostly plant based eater) it was amazing to have fast, fresh-food close to my office. Truth I have gone a little out of my way sometimes to get a Veggie patty Kebap. I was devastated today to find that my favorite(and the only) menu item I eat discontinued. I have no reason to go back now. Veggie patty was what made me return time and again. The amazing service and fantastic staff was icing on the cake. PLEASE bring back the VEGGIEPATTY!!! Carnivores: Please go and support the Cypress store(or all stores)…the meat is great from what I understand. Plus the service and friendly faces are worth it!

Alright I returned a year later and my experience was completely different! The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff is still wonderful so that’s good. The food this time I went was so much better. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing last time I went. I got a snack size kebap which was filling but I probably could have eaten a regular. The falafel were freshly made and super warm and the bread was nicely toasted. I stayed away from the spicy sauces due to the fiasco the last time I was here and got the original sauce and vinaigrette and highly recommend that combo — they compliment each other well. The only complaint I have is the lack of variety in their fruit cups. Mine had only cantaloupe and there was another with only pineapple. But since fruit isn’t what they’re famous for, I can’t complain too much! 2 fun facts I learned about the food: the bread is vegan and the sauces are yogurt based so it’s definitely very vegan/vegetarian friendly and so healthy!

I had dinner tonight, and I wanted to try something new. This was a casual restaurant similar to a Mediterranean café with stainless steel kitchen in the open. You order at the counter, and Mark was very helpful in explaining the menu. In his words, you are being served German street food with a Mediterranean flair. There was a choice of two meats that apparently were thin sliced and put on a spindle much like shawarma. There was a chicken thigh option, but I opted for the 95% beef and 5% lamb mixture. I chose to have it in a salad rather than bread or tortilla option. On my blend of spring mix and iceberg(wish they had romaine), I put feta cheese, red bell pepper, cucumbers and tomatoes. Since I could not decide between the dill yogurt dressing and a balsamic vinegar, Mark suggested that I mix it and this hit the mark. The food was served in a to go container and you had to eat it with plastic dinnerware, but the meat was so delicious and properly seasoned(non-Mediterranean). The others in my party chose the beef in a sandwich and the the falafel salad. We were all very happy with the portions and the uniqueness of the flavor combinations. I believe all three of us were served for about $ 25, which I thought was a good value. Although not fancy, I recommend this place for anybody who wants to have a quick sandwich or salad in an informal environment. I can’t wait to go back to try different combinations of the five dressings you can choose from, and as mentioned before, service was exceptional.

We’ll be back. Service. Great! The counter lady(Black woman, Brown hair, purple eyelids) greeted my son and I while serving another. When we came up in line, I told her it was our first visit. She explained the menu and helped me make my choices. I never had a falafel. Still haven’t. unfortunately they were out. Booooo. Food. It was good. Our vertskebap(we shared one) was filled with fresh veggies, grilled veggies, and beef/lamb. So big we couldn’t finish it! .and my son is a 17 year old eating machine! Fries were good as long as they were hot. The place. Hippy feel. White subway tiles, wood panel walls, concrete floors, retro furnishings(table and bar height). Bohemian music piping through it. We’ll be back.

Summary– Bump back to four stars, will go back to 5 if the service continues to be better. The odd gyro meat with veggies and great sauces on a pressed bread thingy is delicious. This is a great fast casual alternative in the Cypress fog of Burger, Sub, Chain, BBQ, and Tex Mex places. For those of you confused by the ordering try one of their suggested kebaps on the glass in front of the veggies. Food– 4 Stars Everything is darn good. The meat is tender and is made the way proper gyro type meat should be made with thin alternating layers of spiced beef and lamb. It’s great. The veggies are usually very fresh(the only complaint I could make is they tried to serve me some pretty nasty spring mix one time). The bread they press flat is good and I really like their sauces. Fries are good on site but awful to go because of the containers they use. Service– 4 Stars Moves reasonably fast and friendly. I had issues with extreme slowness in the past, but it looks like they have bumped up staffing and training. Drinks– 3.5 Stars They have a few beers on tap and normal sodas. Value– 3 Stars I wish it was a little cheaper, esp the beverages, but I’ll pay it everytime.

It was my first time, so the server told me what to do/how things are done. The way it is set up is very similar to Chipotle. You can customize your order, but I decided to order the Lamb Original and Lamb Texan. The Original tasted better in my opinion than the Texan. Original was delicious(4⁄5)! I had to eat a fourth of it before switching it for the Texan. Everything complimented. Fresh, crispy, and healthy(under 550 calories for most combos!). I would recommend the Original for those who have not tried this place. It had: Beef&Lamb, Spring Mix, Red Cabbage, Tomato, Cucumber, Onion, House Sauce(Cucumber sauce), Vinaigrette, and Spicy Red Sauce. My friend was complaining the jalapeños were too hot in the Texan. The only thing that made Texan(2⁄5) stand out was the jalapeños(which are not hot). If I were to order Texan again, I would modify some things. The Texan: Beef&Lamb, Spring Mix, Tomato, Cucumber, Corn, Onion, Jalapeño, Spicy Red Sauce. We didn’t order the fries and didn’t need to! The amount of food for a full size Kabap here was ample. I couldn’t even finish mine honestly. Next time, I’ll try the fries with the garlic sauce(because fries are a weakness of mine… Well who doesn’t like fries?)! Great, clean place. I am definitely coming back!

First time trying Verts and I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I didn’t hate it(I don’t really like healthy foods.)Generally don’t like lamb, but here, I really didn’t mind it. You can choose between a kebap(think panini), wrap or salad. Then you choose your meat, lamb & beef(they’re combined) chicken or veggie, then the toppings. I had a snack sized lamb & beef kebap and the meat was yummy and juicy. The toppings were abundant for the small size and there were many sauces to choose from. The guy behind the counter recommended a garlic based sauce with a spicy yogurt based sauce mixed together and it was so good. Very pleased by the service, and everything is under 550? calories.

Oh Verts, why have you kept yourself out of Houston so long? Was a bachelor one weekend and saw this was a «new» place on the olé iPhone app and decided to find it. And I am so happy I did. Let us first say, to have a menu that is basically 550 calories or less and is delicious is hard to accomplish. They have great menu, craft beer, and some hippie desserts(evaporated cane sugar? hippies) moving on, they have beef/lamb, chicken, veggie, and SOON felafel. Not sure what it is, but it sounds fun. Will try it. Their toppers for their kebap’s are fresh, crispy, and great. Even their yogurt dressings are tasty. Yes I sampled all of them. so what. It was for research sake. I use the garlic to dip my fries in, you should too. the interior is VERY modern, so if you don’t dig the whole«ikea theme» you won’t like this here. Clean lines and a red sink in the bathroom. Yes red. Overall I give this place 4.5 stars. However because Unilocal refuses to give is the half rating you get 5. I don’t want to sell this place short with a 4 star when really it’s damn good.
