Excellent quality for the price. Friendly staff and clean inside and in the parking lot. They always have sales and are even cheap on their regular priced items.

Two different associates walked me to the items I was looking for. That is precious and rare. Thank you for the service!!!

The store was big & clean & the staff was friendly… However I’m only giving 2 stars because the customers are the rudest customers ever. I came on a Sunday afternoon. It was crowded & it seemed no one was taught the phrase«excuse me» or personal space to be honest. I was bumped multiple times, people just reaching in front of me & the best part was when we got to the car my 10 yr old daughter told me the rude man(looked to be in his early 50’s) at the beef section shoved her out of the way. It’s a good thing she waited to tell me or I would’ve lost my ****. I absolutely have the ability to fly off the handle especially when it comes to my girls.

Last night, around 8:30 I was here STATERBROS in CYPRESS. I have asked the man named Tim to check in the back for the half gallon milk bottle for my kids because there is no more on the rack, and he told me to come back in 2 hours, just because to wait for the truck come in(as he said that). after that, I went straight to the cashier and I asked the young guy(I though he is Vietnamese) and he got me one. I just wondering why Tim was told me that. Maybe just because I am ASIAN. Did he DISCRIMINATE. I think STATERBROSNEEDTOLOOKUPFORTHISPROBLEM, need to work with Tim out about his attitude. Don’t let the FACE ofSTATER BROSTOBESMEAR. Thanks a lot.

Unilocal challenge 201570⁄365 This is one of the bigger and better Stater Brothers located on Valley View and Ball in Cypress with oodles of parking. Buuuuut… that doesn’t mean there is enough parking. Save yourself some serious parking wars and park further away and walk. Cuz, you wont find anything closer. Grab a cart outside the store, duh and beware of the kids selling whatever they sell while camped out in front of the store. Just say no. What I like about this location is they have an actual deli, bakery, produce, coffee station, butcher and redbox. All important aspects of a good super market. I know I can run in, get my fruits and veggies, hit the meat section, and grab a coffee and a fresh bagel. What I dont like is that everyone and their uncle tend to check out at the exact same timem a line up 8 deep is not unusual here, even in the middle of the day when people should be working. Prices here are reasonable with excellent sales on essentials if you know how to shop. Here, you never need to pay full price. Which is awesome since I cook 5 days a week and need the deals on good meals. I usually stock up on my chicken here with their excellent prices. I buy the thin boneless chicken breasts which are perfect for healthy dinners or the chicken and thighs picnic packs. Sausages, bacon and pork are also perfect in price. Yup Im a fan of home cookin and this is where I go to do it. Review #573

Been coming here for years as it is right down the road from my job which is super convenient if I have to pick up something early before work or need to get something quick for dinner on my way home. The prices are reasonable and I love that they always have a butcher on hand. Every employee is super friendly, except for one, which is why this review is only getting two stars. My experience today was terrible. There is always the same, middle-aged woman working the cash registers every morning I go there. She always has a miserable look on her face and always seems annoyed by everything. There is another worker there and she looks like she may work in the meat department(she always has an apron on and a hat) and on more than one occasion I’ve seen the grumpy cashier be rude to her, laugh right in her face and talk about her behind her back. One time she was even making fun of her with me, saying how annoying that woman was. This morning I had to get a money order so I called the store on my way in and said that I know they open at six and could I get a money order then. The gentleman I spoke to said no, but they will be available after 7:00 am. So I came into work, worked for a little bit and then took a break to drive over. I grabbed a card(to put the money order in) and a little snack for myself and made my way to the register. The same grumpy cashier said«NO! We don’t do those until 8.» I explained that I had called in and was told to come in at 7 and she rolled her eyes at me, SHEROLLEDHEREYES, and said«Well I’m going to have to call him and see if he’s willing to do it for you.» So I waited while she rang up my two other purchases and she dialed her phone and was visibly annoyed, tapping her fingers and just looking all upset. She got ahold of whoever she needed and said«Yeah, I have a woman here who needs a money order.» While she was talking to the guy, she bagged my two items and I kid you not, she actually THREWTHEBAG on the counter. I couldn’t believe it. The cashier then hung up, handed me my receipt for my other purchases and said«he’ll be out in a bit!» No have a good day or anything, she just started ringing the next person up. So I went down to the other register(because I saw the guy heading that way) and when I got there, I apologized to him, saying that I could have sworn that the gentleman on the phone said to come in at 7. He told me, «That’s right, we can start printing these at 7, don’t apologize.» So, why the attitude from this woman? Why did she have to be so nasty? Does she not even know the policies/rules for the store she works at. I can’t say I won’t shop here again, just because of the convenience of it being by my job, but I definitely will never come again in the morning. I will not be treated like that.

I love this store and have gotten to know a couple of the employees and they are very friendly. The store is clean and the prices are okay! Way better than Ralphs!

I wanted to make some root beer floats, so I kept going up and down the aisles looking for the darn soda. It wasn’t next to the Jaritos in the ethnic section. It wasn’t next to the water and HFCS juices section. Turns out there is a whole collection of 2 liters and cans on the far right side of Stater Bros. Even more so, they had a buy 4 and get them 88 cents a pop! Great deal! The store was very clean and organized. I’ll keep this location on my supermarket hit list.

I stopped off at Albertsons before I came here in search of the super large shrimp. Albertsons was a bit cheaper, by at least 2 dollars but I’ll be completely honest, I’m really glad I didn’t buy my shrimp there and came to Stater Bros. instead. Though they were more expensive, they looked much better and slightly larger than Albertsons. I told the butcher that I was glad I came here and was willing to put out the extra for their vs. the others. These weren’t frozen, the color was much healthier looking, and they just looked so much better over all.

Just glad to have options for food shopping. Neat aisles, well stocked shelves, lots of brands represented, including its own home brand. Happy with the prices, although the produce section seems a little pricier than the farmer’s Market. After all, this is open everyday, and farmer’s markets are confined to weekends or one weekday usually. The meat section is really well stocked and there is usually a butcher on hand — to cut the larger cuts of meat for you if needed. Really competitive prices but I’ve noticed that I pretty much shop wherever I happen to end up, not necessarily by the prices offered. Did you know the business was started by two Real Life Brothers? The company also supports a lot of charity work — this is from their website: Stater Bros. Charities supports nonprofit organizations whose mission is aligned with these initiatives: * Hunger Relief * Children’s Wellbeing * Education * Health * Veterans Care Now, that’s cool too. I like supporting socially responsible businesses.

I am beginning to understand why Stater Brothers has some items on sale, «BECAUSETHEIROLDORREADYTOEXPIRE!». I bought«St. Louis Style Ribs» when I got them home and unwrapped them they smelt horrible. I had purchased frozen dinners here and there and they look like they have been unfrozen and frozen again. Always check the expiration date people on items at this store. Tuesday I bought, «Sir William-Quality strawberries from Deardorff Family Farms. Quality my *** it’s only Thursday and all my strawberries are white with fuzz on them, yummy. One cashier for a dozen people ;/. I really like Albertson’s. Self check-out and they always have top produce, but I can’t afford them. So, I shop at the poor man’s store, Stater Brothers. If you can, go elsewhere. Target, Wal*Mart, Trader Joe’s. Sarah W. it sounds like you work for them, hmmmm. Unhappy customer.

This is –oops, WAS — my favorite stater bros. My husband goes here 3 – 4 times a week on average, swings by almost every day after work. Last night at 10:15ish, I stopped by. To my horror, there was a janitor-type fellow emptying out the big trash cans outside the front of the store and changing out the plastic liners. HEWASUSING A SHOPPINGCARTTOLUGTHEGARBAGEBAGSFROMCANTOCAN. I think it is disgusting that we are putting our groceries in the same carts that garbage juice leaks all over. He even had a bag on the part where children sit. Personally, I don’t know if I can go back. Ewww. :(

I have been to other Stater Brothers and they are not as clean as the one in Cypress. They generally have whatever I am looking for, except pita bread which I usually have to go to Ralph’s across the street to get. However, they aren’t a Whole Foods or a Trader Joe’s so I guess I can’t expect them to have foods of that type. The staff is always friendly and the checkers seem to have been there since I was in high school years ago and would walk over after school. The parking is usually always convenient, except during holidays when it gets really busy. The staff is quick to open more lines if there are a lot of people. The restrooms are not very clean. I am giving this store a 4 star only because the actual store is clean.

I love Stater Brothers. Remember back in the days when they used to advertise they are«American’s Heartland?» The workers are usually the most friendliest out of all the grocery chains. It is so because I remembered when I used to be a retail manager next door to a Stater Brothers in Costa Mesa and the cashiers there were all making $ 18-$ 20. Keep in mind that was in the 90s. No matter what they make, the meats here is the only other place besides Costco that I go to for some of my BBQs. The prices for meats are decent when they are onsale. The fruits are some of the best. They also now have a decent selection of craft beer here but I still haven’t bought any. During the wintertime close to Christmas they will have a buy 4 bottles of wine and a percentage of of all. The most I’ve seen was 40%. That’s just freaking rediculous! Of course, they do start off a bit high but it was the lowest I’ve seen. They don’t have to best selection of wine here because I am a hunter of second labels and some other small companies people never heard of. They now have a reward card program sans the physical card itself. It’s kind of strange. Because after you clip your coupon online via you forgot what you’ve clipped unless it’s only 1 or 2 items. When the program started, they gave out free sodas and cookies. Free sugar? Yup, I took advantage of it. Just don’t come here on the weekends, it can be obscene in the lines. I’m giving them 5 stars because their in stock items are pretty good and prices are okay as well as their service. I know it doesn’t sound like a lot but having ran a store myself, I know how difficult it is.

This is the market that broke me away from all the bigger, national chains like Albertsons and Ralphs. Being conveniently placed on Valley View and Ball, this market, like most Stater Bros, is a throw back to the local markets that use to populate this great country. STAFF: 4 stars All the workers wear a white dress shirt, black pants, and either a brown or black apron to help you with your needs. I don’t know whether it’s because it’s a smaller city, but the service here seems much nicer than other markets. Either way, I’ve never had issues with getting help from any of the workers. MARKET: 4 stars Usually everything I need for cooking and entertaining can be found here. If there’s something more exotic, I usually end up going to an Asian or Mexican market, but otherwise the selection here is pretty awesome. Also, very clean and the produce shine. The deli section has some scrumptious dishes as well as the meat section being packed with great finds. Also, make sure you check out the clearance section near the bathroom. They have some awesome items for cheap if you plan on using it in the next few days. PRICE: 4 stars The pricing here is always competitive. They always have some deal with their chicken, their clearance items are cheaper than almost any other market, and their own brand items are great quality for very low prices. I can usually leave this market with a few bags worth of groceries and still have spent less than $ 20. CONCLUSION I love this Stater Bros. I’ve been to a few others in my time, but this is the one that always captures my heart and reels me back like a fish on a line. Clean market, safe environment, great prices, delicious food. What more can you ask for?
