Loving our local spring creek bbq off 290! The food was spot on and the lil bun gal is adorable! Great attitudes and smiles all around. Zach the store manager popped by our table to check on us, so glad he did. Shared this is a family owned restaurant, having been in the restaurant space we loved hearing that. Great job Zach, nice crew! Great Bbq! A lovely first visit!

I believe after tonight I’m done with this company I honestly believe that they are prejudice. Sometime there are nice people sometime they are not. Again I spent $ 40 on a order and there always a problem. First came in the to go order people where playful but I order a salad and asked them what was on there two salad because I could not remember which salad I order last time because I usually get the turkey sandwich basket but this time I wanted a salad. No one knew what salad I wanted because either girls knew what came on the salad. They had to go get other people who still did not know what came on the salad. After bringing the wrong salad that I did not want they told to me to walk down to the line to look on the menu to see exactly what salad I want by looking in the menu that does not give you full description of the salad again. Then when I did walk down to the line to look at the salad there was a girl Who was a manager(Callie)who act as though there was a problem that I did not order the salad I wanted she said ok mam so what salad do you want then like it was an issue when I explain to her no one knows well your co-workers she careless. Then after that she told me what both salad had very rudely then I reordered it again the salad came back and all the ingredients she said where not even on the salad. I was so mad I walk out he door and did not even looked into the salad until I got in my car so once I saw it was missing things I went back in and she was laughing talk about me to the other waitress it surprise her that I had came back again and she is a manager She would not be a manager with that type of behavior managers are there to fix problems and help customer not give a customer the impression that they careless. Not to mention when I got home we check my husband order which was the chop beef sandwich basket the sandwich was like a kids meal sandwich which I took pictures of it and will include that with this email. Then after all that we waiting forever for them to redo the salad that was still wrong while waiting I had my small daughter with me she wanted Bread that is always given to anyone in the restaurant that sits in the girl overlook us and never ask did we want any bread Im thinking because we were consider a problem customer. She did not want to be bothered. So I ask her because my daughter wanted one. When asking her she told me that I could get some of the next batch she just had a fresh batch that she just took out but we could not have any of that batch. At that point I was mad about that so I watched her to see what her next move would be. So the bread maker girl dad comes in and she literally gives him a free desert and told him to sit there because that lady over there(me) is tripping out and don’t want her to see I gave you this. When she did not even realize I can hear her teenagers. I also took pics of her. I was angry I did not even realize I sent this email because I was not done giving all details. At this point I m going to write more reviews and I want to get a address for the owner Mr. Hargrove because this unacceptable. Neither manager(Callie the rude one) nor(Mario) made feel as though I was an issue or important both managers were unbothered. Everyone there was not professional it was like a play zone there last night. Me and my husband come there sometime two to three time a week because I’m pregnant and even before that and spend lots money because as the other reviews state they are pricey. After last night I’m afraid to come there because they might do something to my food. Last time I made a complaint it took the company over a month to resUnbelievable this an example of how companies get when they feel as though they are established … I also sent to someone in there company earlier today he respond with s apology no action needs to be taken this is. Not the first time this happen this company is fallen apart and soon or later it will catch up with them which is ashamed… pond and then when I told a head manager he was like unbothered as well.

The meat is dry with too much fat for me. I’m picky about my BBQ, and this chain is just not up to par.

Not a fan of this place at all. It’s filthy, the floor is always slippery and dangerous to walk on and the food is way over priced and not at all good. The only reason I come is my business networking group meets here and we are trying to find a new place because of how filthy the place is. I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen must be.

Average Resturant. Nothing special. Food is just ok. Staff is nice and friendly. I won’t be going back.

We use to love this place and their food is good, most times, sometimes dry and blah. We were very disappointed to learn that they don’t let you take your leftovers home. What restaurant does that? We stopped going here because of that and have told everyone we know not to give them business anymore. The sad part if people don’t care so this company won’t change their policy. I wish they’d go out of business because they are just wasting food. If I pay $ 15 or more per dinner, and not finish all my food, I’d expect to take it home. They don’t deserve a penny of my hard earned $$$$$$$

Consistently great BBQ. Lean, marbled, extra bark… Tell them what you want. Plus you can make a mountain of unlimited sides on your plate. A basket with fresh baked rolls will be brought to your table periodically while you eat. So undo your belt and go to town. When you’re done get some peach cobbler with blue bell vanilla ice cream. Then you can go home and cry about how bad you have been.

Just left from here, Hated it! Not worth the $ 16 I paid left an entire plate food to go eat else where and have to re-pay for lunch. the worst side choices for a BBQ restaurant, completely missed the mark on their sausage it might as well been eckridge or Oscar meyer. brisket was ok some was real fatty .The staff was GREAT restaurant was clean. just was not impressed with the food… especially at $ 16 for 1 person.

This is my favorite Spring Creek BBQ! They are consistently reliable with both service and food quality. I once wrongly assumed that the one on 1960 would be similar only to find out it is not. I drive way out of my area to enjoy the meats at this restaurant on 290.

Firstly, I am not from Texas nor currently living there. So I am far from expert with this sort of cuisine. Still, I do know good food. On Sunday we went to Spring Creek. I had the(lean) brisket, mac and cheese and the coleslaw. I put one of their spicy BBQ sauces on the brisket. It was a tad dry, but tasty. The bread was fresh and warm. I thought the whole meal was delicious. It is a very family friendly atmosphere. Check it out if in the area. Enjoy!

I have been to many different spring creeks and this one seems just about the same as the rest of them. They have really good meat. Especially the ribs. The service is exceptionally friendly and they bring around hot bread to the tables which is nice. I also like their green beans and their macaroni and cheese. The tea is good too. In spite of all the good things, I’m not a big fan of cafeteria style restaurants, and the plates are a bit small considering what needs to fit on them. The prices are high in my opinion and I don’t like the barbecue sauce that much, although barbecue in general isn’t my favorite. My husband and his family would probably give this place 4 stars, especially for the free bluebell ice cream on Sundays. But I just can’t quite get there. It’s a decent place, nonetheless.

I have eaten at different spring creeks around houston and this one had the worst brisket of any. It seemed to be super dry like it was from yesterday. We came for a spirit night for my children’s school. The service on the other hand was exceptional, I just wish I could say same about the food. I would highly recommend a different location.

Default bbq location. I eat here at least once a month when I’m home from school, and I’m always impressed. Great portion sizes, not too greasy, and delicious, juicy, smoky flavor in all the meats. I highly recommend the ribs, the chicken, the brisket, the sausage — basically everything. The okra and the corn make for great sides. And of course the heavenly rolls. I usually get takeout here, but the dine-in atmosphere is wonderful for families as well.

Kinda watched this place go down hill over the years. The price seems to be creeping up and the service is going down. It’s not terrible bbq, but it’s not fantastic either. If you don’t have time to drive to Rudy’s, then it will do.

Being new to Texas, I think my standards for BBQ are most likely lower than the natives… Seattle does a lot of cuisines right, but BBQ just isn’t one of them. When I came here, I was amazed at the all you can eat sides, the tasty meats, and the portions! I had a chance to sample a little bit of everything: –ribs –brisket –black pepper sausage –mac and cheese –bbq beans –fresh bread rolls I would say my favorite of the meats were the sausage! Brisket was a bit too fatty for me, but nevertheless, super tender. Ribs were sub par. nothing special but nothing bad either. The never ending sides was a nice surprise, as who doesn’t love anything unlimited?! And while you’re seated, someone will come by your table on several accounts asking if you’d like more fresh baked bread rolls. The rolls are super soft and buttery! I didn’t get a chance to see what the total of our bill was, but I think when in the area, I would definitely be back to get a quick BBQ fix!

Spring Creek is always in point. I always get a Sausage dinner, TONS of Mac & Cheese, TONS of green beans with bacon! I find myself always craving those bacony fresh smoked green beans! Food is always warm and consistent. By far one the best BBQ places around! Although my only complaint is on multiple occasions it seems likes it’s a romper room. Kids are always hollering and running around. Today a girl was slapping the poo out of a boy. Slapping in a restraunt? Really? Not only that the same girl started punching other kids at her table. It’s not Spring Creeks fault no one disaplined the child. Overall, I love this place!

Eat there last night they were very good. This location is sometimes hit or mess but more Hit than miss. We have tried other locations and they are not good, so we always come back to this one. The sides are always very fresh. The rolls are hot and yummy. On occasion the ribs have been chewing but, last night they were fall off the bone good! And the chicken was excellent last night. Very moist and not dried out. My family was hungry before 6 o’clock and there was a line already pass the door. Writing this the next day I’m beginning to wonder if I should go there for lunch that’s how good they were!

I wouldn’t consider Spring Creek one of the best BBQ places ever, especially since this is Texas, but the food here is still pretty good. Getting your meal is pretty quick and easy considering you go to the counter and pick your cuts and sides. I like to order the ham because it’s not something that many BBQ places do very well, and here it is very nicely cooked. Also, the fresh rolls they bring to your table are delicious! My family has done catering here a couple of times and you can get a good amount of food to feed plenty of people for a decent price

I really liked this place. The service was good and friendly. I tried the BBQ ribs plate and those ribs were smokey and flavorful, tasted like they had brown sugar on em. Definitely doesn’t taste boiled/baked like some BBQ restaurants. I got the Q sauce on the side, had a nice little spicy kick to it, definitely not a super sweet sauce. As the sides, AYCE but I didn’t venture back. I liked the italian cut green beans the most, very good with pieces of bacon in em. C’mon son, you can’t go wrong with bacon! The cole slaw was OK but was missing something, can’t put my finger on it. The potato salad, I could do without it. They also had mac n cheese, corn on the cob, baked beans and some premium sides if you want to either pay an up charge or forego the regular sides. Those yeast rolls though… that’s some good azz bread fa sho! ol girl came around twice trying to offer us more. fresh out the oven every time. The brisket, while I didn’t taste it, looked very moist. I’m definitely going back to try it, if I can stay away from the ribs. Sorry I don’t have a pic of nuuuuthin cuz I dove into that Q-barb faster than Ev jumped in the bed with Ocho Cinco! Ooops did I say that out loud? too soon? The cobbler and blue bell ice cream looked like a hit, I saw many people going up to buy some but I was too stuffed. They support local schools including coupons for free /discounted food to teachers, and having a few teachers in the fam, I’ll continue to support Spring Creek because of it.
