Nestle Toll House Cafe by Chip

We were immediately greeted and suggestions offered for many tasty treats.
Finally decided on the Button brownie, which is a rich chocolate fudge brownie topped with a mini chocolate chip cookie. It was moist and the icing was creamy, the cookie on top was soft in the middle with a slightly crisp edge just the way I love it.
Also got a scoop of coffee ice cream — Dreyers.
My friend got a cookie dough shake which she said is tasty.
I noticed the address is right but the map is wrong. This place is right between Merle Norman and B Ellen near Shogun and Newk’s just down from the movie theater.
The only thing I think they are missing out on is not offering Affogato. They offer ice cream and Espresso… seems a natural conclusion they’d offer it.

Watch out giving your credit card numbers to employees at this store. The employees at this place (A young lady behind the register and a tall muscular teenager) blatantly try to commit credit card fraud.
We stopped by this store on Saturday to get some ice cream for our 4 year old and a couple of smoothies. I paid for those with my credit card and left the store before my wife and daughter finished. When my wife and daughter were leaving the young lady behind the cash register asked her to pay again. My wife let her know that I had paid with my credit card. She denied that and requested the credit card again. My wife called me back since I was still in the same shopping mall and some guy who was representing himself to be the owner spent 10 minutes printing his credit card receipts for the day to find my credit card number. At that point, all he did was to apologize. That is it. No action against the two employees was taken.
As a precaution, I have called the credit card company to cancel and reissue that card and am considering calling Harris County District Attorney office on Monday to see if charges can be filed against these two individuals.

Stopped here for a quick sweet treat after having lunch at Newk’s next-​door. The cookie, well, bar I got was kinda hard and I could tell it had been sitting in the case for a while…
The young girl behind the counter couldn’t have cared less that we were there. Ordering our cookies seemed like quite a put-​off.
Oh well, bad service or not, the cookie was just aight. So meh…
