So I set up an appointment for 9am and I arrived at about 8:45am. They took my truck in and said it would take an hour and a half to install 4 tires, no I have ran tire shops for years and never had it take that long especially when you’re one of the first couple of customers. Now it didn’t take an hour and a half but now it has been 2 hours and they are just bolting things back up. If it wouldn’t have been for a sale I would never come back. Really sad seeing a store I used to run go so far down hill.

Came in to get a new tire, Julian check and found a large nail in it. Suggested it might be able to have a patch instead of replacing since it had a lot of tread left. Sure enough, they were able to patch it. If this had been at the other tire place — D Tire — they would have used fear tactics to try and sell a whole set for my car. This is the second time I have come in to this NTB location and had a positive experience. I was in and out within an hour or so, both times, thanks to booking an appointment online.

NTB Cypress — Home of the 3 hour oil change. I have a fleet vehicle, so I go wherever my company has a National Account. Every NTB has been much slower than the competition. This location is worse than average. Ive had them try and replace things that didnt need to be replaced because it was a fleet vehicle, they always take an exorbitant amount of time. I drop my car off 30 minutes before my girlfriend took hers in, and we went to eat. Somehow, her car finished 45 minutes before mine did… Avoid if you can. Some of us can’t…

Not a good experience, but not a terrible one. I might use them again. The experience: After reading the reviews, I was hesitant. But, the battery on my car is a real hassle to get to, so I opted to have someone else do it. Sunday means fewer options, so I gave NTB a shot. Quickly, I was told that I needed tires. OK, that is true — I already knew that. With winter around the corner, not wanting to have to make another trip, and with Goodyear tires on sale at a fair price, I decided OK. Then, the warranty question — No, I don’t need a tire warranty that costs half as much again as the tires! Really? NO! Simple enough to resolve though. Sadly, that sort of thing doesn’t phase me much any more. No substantial complaints yet. Only a few people here — shouldn’t take long… They must have an egg timer back there. At exactly 90 minutes, I’m told it will be about 5 – 10 minutes more. They should use just one timer. Thirty minutes later, at the 120 minute mark, they pull my car out. I may be crazy, but I am curious. With only 4 customers here — how long will it take them to tell me it’s done? After 10 minutes, I spoke up(I’m not that crazy). Paperwork done. Out to car. Check pressure-sensor readings. All asterisks. Sadly, I anticipated this. Back inside. Sync the sensors with the onboard system. Adjust pressures to recommended levels. How can a tire business have all 4 tires at different pressures and none at spec?!? Finally, after 2 ½ hours, I’m heading home.

My battery died, and this was the closest NTB that had a replacement one. I called ahead of time and had them verify that they did have the correct battery in stock, and then trekked on over. The only complaint I have about this place is that they were fairly slow — I was here roughly 2 hours waiting for my new battery to get installed. I know there were a lot of folks ahead of me, and they have free Wi-Fi, so I wasn’t too upset at this. I’ve been getting my battery replaced at NTB for over 10 years, and have never had an issue. I do wish I had been given a more correct time estimate(originally said less than an hour), because I would have walked over to one of the many stores and restaurants in the shopping center to kill time, rather than aimlessly perusing the internet.

Sales staff with no knowledge of the product, to flat just lying about it. No customer satisfaction. Put wrong size on Truck. Swore would be a better ride and when left for the ride home was far worse than old tires. When called would take care it HAHA. Went back would not do a thing, could not find old tires. Would not take back because you drove off the lot. How stupid or convenient to cover their poor quality. I am recommending to dispute the CC charge and call the attorney general’s office. One star is too good

I can’t get over the number of prices I’ve been quoted and the Tom foolery they say needs to be done. What next? $ 200 to wipe the dust off my break pad to keep my car from exploding when I reach speeds of 42mph when driving in the rain during a tsunami in Kuwait??? Just get me outta here!!! #thisiswhyinevercomehere

NTB, the old National Thievery and Battery. That’s not battery in the electric sense either. Over a two day period I was quoted, in-store, three different prices on the same tires. When I finally decided on a set, the employee assured me I heard wrong. I had misheard that the road hazard is $ 180 a tire, not the aforementioned $ 90. After locking in the preferred price they mounted the tires and I noticed one of the air pressure sensors threw a fault. Of course they were oblivious to the matter and refused to replace it. Furthermore, when tons-o-fun typed up the bill he put the road hazard at $ 180. He came in late the morning after he and I had spoken and was unaware that I had locked in these prices with another employee. When all was said and done this overbearing individual would not let me leave without purchasing their 5 year alignment package. Never again
