Full disclosure: I have never actually been to this place, so I have no idea what it looks like or what the employees are like. But my brother-in-law picks up kolaches for us when we are in town and they are SOFREAKINGGOOD. I didn’t even know what a kolache was when I first had one but all I could think was, «where have these been all my life?» The sausage gravy ones are by far the best, but all of the flavors I’ve had are really good. I just tried the jalapeño popper ones and they are sooo good. Seriously, like, I don’t even know how else to describe them. They are just delicious and you NEED to try them. I’m going to have to seek out any kolaches I can in Oregon!

2 stars because someone who is managing this store sucks. I used to be able to get any kolache even at noon downtown. Then I moved out here and 10am already no more bbq, pizza, ham egg cheese croissant etc??? Jesus the only way to get the kolache you want from this location is if you show up early. By 10am some of them are all gone already.

Great food! Excellent service! My usual is potato egg cheese or BBQ beef. Around the holidays, they have a turkey n dressing kolache… tastes just like grandmama use to make(all that’s missing is the cranberry sauce, so jus bring ur own). Since I don’t usually eat pork I try to stay away from the sausage… did u get the«try to»? Lol! The sausage n gravy is heavenly, especially right from the oven. Try not to think biscuit n gravy n don’t even try to imagine it. You just have to try it. For my pork lovin friends n family I have converted them to Kolache Factory with this very delish concoction. Of note, I have tried at least 3 other area locations n none come close in overall quality or service. You won’t be disappointed! They close at 2:00, but are open every day so plenty of opportunities to check them out!

Best kolaches around. The jalapeño popper kolache is excellent and very spicy. The only thing I don’t like if they don’t have traditional kolaches with the sausage and cheese in the bun.

Ok, let me explain something real quick: I have a kolache addiction and I’m seriously considering starting a petition for these folks to start a home delivery service. Saturday morning, me in my v. secret pink jammies(let’s ignore the multi-colored toe socks) and kolaches delivered to my doorstep? Why yes! I would gladly pay for that! I always go for the plain jane sausage with cheese. I’ve tried several other kolaches, but there’s nothing like the original. I always want three, but can only scarf down two. All good– the last one makes the perfect late night snack. The key is in the bread(I think they use honey) — but man can not live by bread alone. The sausage and cheese has that perfect mix of sweet and savory– oozing cheesy goodness mixed with the juices from a perfectly cooked(or microwaved) sausage. Its so Zen.

I love this place. I was in Texas for work and the Kolache Factory was recommended by a fellow Unilocaler. Boy was I glad I listened. There must be 50 different varieties of kolache. Both days I went I opted for a jalapeño cheese and a Texas hot. The jalapeño cheese was smaller than the Texas hot, but it was my favorite. If you don’t know, a kolache is a sausage baked inside of breading similar to a pig in a blanket. The breading and sausage was very high quality and tasted wonderful. I recommend having your kolache heated if you plan on eating them on the road. I only wish someone would open a Kolache Factory in the New Orleans area.
