Trustworthy. Informative. Helpful. The best group one could count on to handle one of your most valuable assets… your car. Moises and his team were there for me at every step and ended up saving me money on fixing my car. I would recommend Hansens to anyone.

This place is horrible! The people there are rude and childish! Especially the older gentleman, I think he’s the owner, not sure because he rudely interrupted our conversation and acted like a five year while getting in my face. I told him to quit acting like a child and he told me and I quote«I will stop, when he stops!» Referring to my 18 year old son. This guy was easily in his 60’s. I will never recommend this place or use them again! We didn’t want to use them in the first place. Some how they are contracted with the BPPD. Good luck if you ever need to use them!

****WARNING**** Beware of these people! They will steal your possessions from your vehicle. My Silverado 2500 was towed here and when it was returned my 500 $ watch that my deceased grandmother gave me was no longer in the vehicle, along with a 300 $ ring! My watch was not replaceable and these people took it and told me oh well sorry! Do not take your vehicle here for body work, the tow yard and body shop are the same business. I wouldn’t trust these guys around loose change in my ashtray!

So my boyfriend’s car got towed here. After getting all the paper work done and we went to pick it up he noticed some damage. And like every other guy my boyfriend takes very good care of his car. He saw scratches on the front bumper that weren’t there. When he tried to bring it up they were extremely rude and didn’t care much to listen! Even telling him«well you wanna take it or what» a few other people in there decided to chime in on this what we thought was a one on one conversation. Must’ve been the owner or something but didn’t even feel the need to introduce himself just put in his 2 cents and walked away without waiting for a response from us. They if we wanted to report the damage then go to the police.

WOW — Another Great experience with the folks at Hansen’s — I needed a work truck towed back to our shop a while ago and had called a different place first(I know slap me) Come to find out, after waiting for over an hour, the driver tells me he brought the wrong truck out and I would have to wait for him to go get the right one — WHAT ? Okay so I learned my lesson and called Hansen’s — They came to my rescue and were there in no time. The truck was hooked up and off we went. Being a ways from home I was nervous about the price — I was wrong — So affordable and the driver was a true proffesional ! Now fast forward to today — Needing some body work done I called Hansen’s. They came to my rescue again and replaced the damaged parts, made the repairs and I was back on the road in less than 2 hours. The price they quoted was the price I paid which was very reasonable. Karen and Moises are the best. Great attitude and a desire to please customers. I have never had my car fixed here but I supply them with the OE parts they require and are always making sure they are getting exactly what their customers car needs and nothing more. My husband’s BMWM5 was recently in an accident(he rear-ended someone) and Cypress Tow towed it here. We’ve taken his car here before for repairs(someone else hit him) so we figured we just let Hansen’s do the repair work again. Our first experience wasn’t so bad. However, this time was a little bit of a doosy. I met with Moises when we first dropped off the car. He verbally told me the repairs will cost between $ 4,000-$ 5,000, nothing more. Of course, he’d have to take the car apart to access the damage inside, «but nothing like $ 8,000.» He took 2 days to access the damage and told me over the phone that the actual estimate is now $ 7,800. Uh huh. We didn’t feel like towing it down the street to Chicago Auto Body(where we usually take our cars) so we just said ok cuz we just want the car to be fixed. The airbag did deploy, and that alone was $ 2K. Crazy. Moises told me it would take only 2 wks. I called him each wk to find out the status. He would always go on & on about this & that, which didn’t make sense most of the time. Kept saying it’s looking good. I thought it was annoying that I would be the one calling, I think he should call me with updates instead. Whatevers. Car was finally done today, a little over 2 wks. It looks great, can’t complain there. One nice thing, total came out to $ 7,300. I guess he said he was able to save us some money afterall. I guess they deserve 3 stars.

Had my minivan repaired here after a parking lot fender bender. They said that they would not overspray on good paint. The entire side that was repaired was splotchy. The bumper guard along the door was stuck on using some stationary shop 3m double sided tape that peeled off. I returned to have it repaired not once, not twice but three times! And the third time they used goopy substance to keep it adhered to the door but it was ugly. On top of that, the bumper was crooked. This place does not give the impression that excellence and customer satisfaction is priority. Very sad in this economy. You would think people would go above and beyond to earn your business and trust. They lost mine. That’s what happens when you lack integrity.
