Country Place RV Park

We came for a couple of days and stayed over one month!
The new owners, Ron and Sherry are a husband and wife team who are striving to make this gem perfect. They are both very personable and accommodating. My wife and I like to call Country Place «home» even though we are travelling full-​time. We will definitely be back next season.
The ponds are stocked with beautiful fish and are home to a variety of ducks, they offer fishing pole rentals and have a great game room and frequent community events. The dog run is being built as I type and the backwoods trails are very pretty.
As far as the surrounding area goes you will be very close to Houston and Conroe. Highly recommended is the Red Brick Tavern in Conroe and Fajita Jack’s at Lake Conroe.
Come feed the fish and ducks y’all! One last thing is that the grounds are very secure and the folks here «look out» for one-​another, even if you are here for just a weekend or here for a few months.

I am very disappointed to say that for a family run business by «Americans» that they would not allow me to pay or rent a camping ground for a homeless Veteran that needs a camping ground to call home for a couple weeks while the community networks to place him in a job and a home. I am disgusted with the owners attitude and words «I do not cater to those sort of people.» What sort of people is that a homeless Veteran that fought for Our Country so that you can own a business and have freedom? I would NEVER RECOMMEND or DO BUSINESS with owners like this. I am in shock that I am willing to pay for this homeless Veterans camp ground for a couple weeks paid upfront and they «don’t cater to those sort of people» they should be ashamed of themselves. This is not a Military supporting business nor do they have morals or compassion. DISGUSTING!!!

My husband and I have recently moved to this area to work for a very prestigious company. It was our hope to live from our fifth wheel while seeking our new home. We were originally treated with kindness as the wife running the reservations desk greeted us. She quickly asked what year our RV was, as ‘old models «were not wrlcome. We have a pristine condition Crossroads Cruiser 2004. We even had pictures, however the man (her husband) was not interested in seeing our pictures. We were treated as low like for inquiring about their park. I can assure you, it was not a luxury resort situation. Their snooty attitudes and «better that thou», unloving style of presenting themselves was enough to turn me and my husband away. We have happily found a nicer site, paying a bit more but love the kind, smiling, genuine people, we have been so blessed to meet. Thanks be to God for leading us to greener pastures.

Great place to come and enjoy when you want to get away and enjoy time with the family!
