Are they still in business? Call and call and call from 9:00am-3:45pm today and nobody pick up the damn phone. You lost a customer for catering. Their website are not up yet. What kind of biz is this?

There is no other Japanese catering company! They are amazing! We had Sushi bar and Tempura. I, myself is a Japanese, but can not do it like they do!!!
Our guest for my husband’s 40^th birthday was so happy!
Even people who usually don’t take any seafood tried their Sushi and loved it!!!
Takae is amazing!
She keeps communicating to make everything sure and will work for the host and guests.
And her team is amazing as well.

I just had Yokohama cater our work party today and it was so fun and everyone loved it. Sushi box with bento teriyaki chicken and a salad. The veggie meals were great too. They delivered on time and did a great job with all of the food.

Great, friendly and professional! They did the sushi for my husband’s birthday. We has a couple of caterers, who all worked well together. They listened and worked with me to create a truely memorable party.
Everyone loved their sushi. Yuki is a real sushi chef and his assistant, Takae is very sweet. The sushi was really fresh and they come prepare with everthing. I didn’t have to do a thing. He prepared a selection for the guests to pick from and they could also order accordingly. My kids 7 and 5 even got into it — ordering their favorites with the chef.
I highly recommend them, and have — as several of our guest are quite interested in using them for their parties.

I 100% would recommend this the business for any one looking to have sushi catered. Really, I only have positive comments about these guys.
The sushi chef is for real… he has tons of experience and its apparent that he is well trained.
They bring the whole package when you book them. They set up everything they bring and they also clean it all us. They have the glass case, all the wasabi, soy sauce, ginger, ect. All of our friends were amazed at how professional they were and how amazing the sushi tasted.
A women also came with the sushi chef and she helped prepare things. Both of them were so nice and accomodating. They made special rolls for my pregnant wife that didn’t have any raw fish in them.
Pricing is also very competitive for sushi as well.
So if you are looking for a catered sushi, look no more and give these guys a call.

We hired Yokohama Sushi Catering for my husband’s birthday party. We used the «on-​site sushi chef» service. It was great! All the guests were impressed. The sushi was fresh and good and the display was nice. Yuki (the sushi chef) was fun (yet professional).
I was able to work with Takae via email and a couple phone calls to finalize the sushi menu. She was extremely pleasant to work with, though sometimes it did take her a while to get back to me (but she always did). We weren’t able to do a sampling (they do it through their Sushi Bar in SF), but had a friend who had used them for another party so knew the quality of their food was good. They didn’t disappoint — everything was fresh and tasty.
One of the things I really liked about them was their flexibility and the variety of sushi they were able to provide. Our party wasn’t huge (25 people), but we were able to order smaller quantities of many types of sushi (I think we had 17 different types of sushi that our guests could choose from). It was nice to be able to give our guests lots of different choices.
We also had them prepare chicken teriyaki and vegetable tempura (the veggie tempura was EXCELLENT — they do this shredded carrot/​broccoli/​onion one that looks pretty and tastes great! They also do tempura chiso leaves… I’d never seen or tasted that before — they were delicious!!).
At the end of the night, they put the «leftovers» on plates or in boxes — and even left extra boxes — so our guests could take some home to enjoy.

I have hired Yokohama Sushi Catering for my baby shower in October 2009. I first met them at a retirement party in San Jose for a Japanese friend. They did the onsite sushi bar catering. The fact that the party included all Japanese people and they loved the sushi gave me great comfort to know that their food was authentic, fresh and delicious (it was!). I think Takae-​san is very nice and she works with you to formulate your menu.

We used Yokohama Sushi for a birthday party and it was wonderful! Their fish is about as fresh as you can get and the sushi rolls are great, the quality of rice used is perfect. They listened and accommodated lots of our personal needs and truly thought they are great for parties! Highly recommended!

Yuki and Takae are amazing! They only use the best quality fish and their service was incredible. My guests enjoyed the personal attention and the seemingly endless stream of sushi. Best of all, I had plenty of leftovers!

I had them cater my son’s 1^st bday party. This is an experience to remember for your guests. We had a customized menu and they were able to accomodate us with all our needs. Takae was a great hostess. She was very charming and sweet to talk to. Their sushi was out of this world. Both Yuki, the chef, and Takae were very knowledgable with what they were serving to our guests. We were a hard crowd to please but they left us in awe. Our party was a complete success and we’ll definitely use them again.
