I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years now and I love this place! Every time I go the mall I always stop here for a little treat! I always get their strawberry banana smoothie and now my son loves it just as much! Their prices are also very reasonable compared to others and their smoothies taste way better!!! The Korean couple who owns this place are always very kind and professional! There’s is never really a long line and if there is no worries because you usually won’t wait that long since they know how to make the smoothies really fast! I’m glad this place has stayed in business with all the construction and such going on around them! It’s even convenient enough to just stop in for a quick smoothie if I’m in the mood and nearby! I will always come back when I’m in the mood for my strawberry banana smoothie fix!

I love this place. I go every day after my work out at the Bay Club. I especially enjoy the Power Pump with wheat grass. The owners are the best. Thanks to Allan and Sarah for providing the best smoothies in town.

I love love LOVE this place. I have been going for at least 10 years. I am a strawberry banana loyalist. The flavor is fresh and oh so tasty. No ice cream needed. I drive to vallco just for a smoothie. The owners are awesome, I moved away for 4 years and when I came back, he remembered me and my order. Support this small business, they’re good!

This is my go to smoothie place for almost 10 years now. Jamba Juice has nothing on Surf City Squeeze! I have tried several different smoothies from this kiosk: strawberry banana, Oreo, peanut butter banana, peach, etc. The Korean lady that works weekends with the Korean man even humors me & makes a special smoothie that is not on the menu, but that I thought would make a good combo. Let’s just say my special smoothie is made to perfection every time! Actually almost any smoothie made in this kiosk is perfection! I never had a smoothie I didn’t enjoy :) I love the fact that both the man & woman remember me & what I order! It’s great to feel remembered & feel special. They tend to make a little extra so that it’s fill my order plus a bit more in a sample cup(that my hubs always takes). You can bet your tushy that I will be coming back here for my smoothies as long as the kiosk & the same workers remain! Loyal customer right here! :)

Really want to like this place, but during my last two visits, the smoothies are so average. Ordered an oreo cookie smoothie the last time, it was not even made with real oreos. bummer! Today I went in for a strawberry banana smoothie, bleh, taste really bland and there was a sour spoiled milk after taste to it. Took two sips and the rest ended up in the trash. Probably will stick to the regular strawberry smoothie or the mango-tango everyone Unilocaling about. The owner is quite friendly, so i might be back.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and 20 years later I would say they still make the best smoothies hands down! Way better than jamba juice! I believe anyone that grew up in this area would agree as all my friends do too.

I used to come here all the time when I was a kid, and I still love it now even as an adult. I never knew that this place was a chain until somebody told me. I definitely thought it was a mom and pop smoothie shop haha. But anyways, my all time favorite smoothie here is mango banana. Best smoothie evar. I’d pick this place over Jamba Juice any day. But keep in mind that this place is cash only!

I used to come to this mall more often when I was a little kid. I took ice skating lessons at the ice skating rink, I used to frequent the Sanrio which is now gone, and I used to always get smoothies here. The taste has not changed for probably around 15 years. I always get the banana banana smoothie. I love it. The bananas they use are sweet. I’ve tried to recreate the smoothie myself, but was never able to achieve the same flavor. I am convinced that it’s the white smoothie base they use, but can’t figure out what it is about it that tastes so good. This has been dead for years. With AMC16 being built into to mall brought back some business. I just hope this smoothie place never goes away. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than jamba juice(comparing the portion to the actual price), but I think it’s worth it. You have to give this place more credit for being open in such a dead mall for a long time. They have to recover their costs some how.

Cash only, overpriced. …and customer service is ‘lacking’ to say the least. My gf ordered a drink for me(strawberry/banana smoothie), and when I got it I noticed a sour yogurt-like taste. I drank about 1⁄10th of it, and then my stomach started to hurt. Figuring the drink was bad, I went back to the kiosk to get something else. The owner/operator refused to get me a new drink. He insisted that the non-dairy smoothie base was ‘fine’ and that ‘nobody else has had a problem today’ then he insisted it was the strawberries that were sour, and it could be remedied by adding sugar. I told the guy I didn’t want sugar added, I wanted a different drink that didn’t taste like spoiled yogurt. I’m not retarded. I know what sour fruit tastes like, and I know what bad milk/dairy tastes like. I used to work at a smoothie place, it’s not rocket science. Don’t insult me and then refuse to remedy the situation. Since he wouldn’t budge to make me another drink, I allowed him to add sugar to it. The drink was sweeter, but still tasted like old milk. Now, fully assured I did not want to finish this large smoothie that cost nearly $ 4.00, I seriously considered throwing the drink on him for being such an inconsiderate asshole. At least that way I’d get my $ 4.00 worth out of it, I thought. Then the thought of the mall security guard running from the food court aaaaallllllllllllllllll the way to the kiosk looking for me crossed my mind. I laughed a little because it was pretty funny, but then I realized this guy wasn’t playing with a full deck and would likely run out of his kiosk to catch me, and that wouldn’t end well for either of us. I thought better of it and chucked it in a nearby trashcan as I walked away, still pissed at the shitty service, determined to share my experience with any other poor sap that might think it is a good idea to support a local business in that shitty mall. F— this place. I’ll never give them another dime of my money, and I suggest you do the same.

I love this place! Whenever I go to Valco I always grab a smoothie from here[: The coffee drinks & the raspberry ones are unusually delicious. Plus the man who owns the place is wonderful. Anyone who’s tired of Jamba Juice should come to this place.

YUMM! Man this stand is probably older than me… I remember coming here when I was 5 or 6 and the drinks were always delicious. I usually got a strawberry banana. I’m so happy that it’s still here and their drinks are still made the same way. The owner is very friendly and they have great service. Even though the mall is a dead place… I still come there for the drinks during school :]

YUM! These were solid smoothies. I ordered the pineapple-orange-banana and daughter ordered raspberry-banana. Both were good, but the raspberry-banana rocked.(Daughter did not share much of that!) Daughter’s friend ordered the strawberry-banana and did not offer up one taste, but it had to have been good because she finished her large in less than five minutes. Not kidding. Never saw anyone down a smoothie that quick! As previous reviews have mentioned, the stand is a kiosk inside Valco. The owner was wonderful and gracious. Daughter’s friend goes there a lot and without her even needing to give her order, he knew what to make her. He remember’s his customers. For a mall kiosk, that’s good.(Yeah — Valco may be desolate, but to remember customers is still good.)

This is a little kiosk in the aisle at Cupertino Square(formerly Vallco) near the AMC theaters. It must be a franchise, because Cupertino is not exactly Surf City, unless you mean on the Internet with an Apple Mac! The Korean owner is friendly, despite sitting in this little business jail for 12 hours a day making smoothies! The smoothies have a very rich vanilla like fro-yo base that makes it taste pretty good. The actual flavors are a bit weaker, and not fresh, but syrups, I think.(It is hard to see behind the kiosk!) We had a mango-pineapple pearl bubble drink, small size for $ 3.45, and a small Ginseng Delight, with blueberries, $ 3.75. Couldn’t taste the blueberries, but the drink was good. The bubble wasn’t bad either, but again, not much in the way of mango. There are very few choices for eating and drinking at Cupertino Square at the moment, so this is one of your choices. The other is a $ 4.00 mega medium soda inside the theater.

Forget Jamba Juice! Surf City has always been my favorite smoothie place. I always get a Strawberry/Banana Smoothie with Peanut Butter and protein powder. I know. it sounds weird… and sometimes when I ask for it I get that«umm. are you sure?» look. but yea! it’s good! Banana & Peanut Butter is good, but the strawberry adds just a bit of extra sweetness to it. Today, I went to the Surf City in Vallco, and the very friendly Korean guy behind the counter made me my smoothie and told me that there is another lady who orders the same drink! I was shocked! Whoever you are. cheers! Five stars for the great friendly service, knowing how to make my drink, and not think I’m wierd for it! =D
