Sherry Precision Dental Art

We were referred to this business by our dentist for a TMJ scan. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our appointment, thinking we would be able to be seen early since the business is said to be open at four p.m. First, the receptionist said it was going to take 30 minutes to fill out the paper work; however, there was only one sheet to fill out, which it only took us two minutes. After doing so, we paid the fee for the work and the receptionist notified us that the tech was prepping the scanner. There’s a glass window wall which separates the waiting room and the scanning room. From the looks of it she was not «prepping» at all. She was busy scrolling through personal pictures.
When it was time for our appointment, the tech came and called us in and right when she about to scan, the system went down. The tech said it was going to take five minutes to reboot and that was fine. About 20 minutes later, the tech said she was on the phone with an IT for assistance and asked if we could wait a few more minutes while they are trying to fix the problem. We let her know that for reasons like this we come to appointments early and that we could go about our day. We commuted from across town, Milpitas to be exact and it is not like a walk down the street. As a result, the tech asked us if we could give them a call when we are available or she suggested if she could give us a call when they are ready and when they are available. With that in mind, it seemed as if she was getting annoyed by us.
Nonetheless, it seems as if there was not a sense of urgency. Working in retail, urgency is key as well as customer service. In the end, we decided to leave because we had to take the little ones to their grandparents. She then asked to see if we could reschedule for tomorrow anytime between 10 and 12. We settled for 10 a.m. and she will call us with updates on the system either the night of or the following morning. She called called and left a voicemail notifying us that the system was still down and to call back to confirm if we had received her message. Unfortunately, we had a prior engagement and could not return the call.
This morning, she called again notifying us that the system is still down. We asked her if she was at the office and she said, «No.» Then we asked her concernedly asked, «Are you at the office? How do you know?» She responded, «Oh. I know!» She then said that she will give us a call when they are available, maybe sometime next week. The thing is that we paid the fee and we did not feel as if we were being accommodated as we should. Seeing as their business opens at four p.m. we do not think it was difficult to seeing the patient prior to the appointment time, since we were told the process only took 10 minutes.
Just a thought: «If you are willing to come in prior to opening hours to complete the job that was intended to be done, why can you not do so when the system becomes readily available?»

Let me tell you about Sherry Precision Dental — When I had to get my crowns done from Dr. Chen, he told me he gets the crowns done by the best lab techs in the area because he wants nothing but the best for his patients. So he told me to make an appointment with them to do a color matching for the crowns. I’ve never had to do this before so I didn’t know what to expect and if I could even know how to pick the right color — good thing Sherry knew what she was doing!
I asked a ton of questions just to make sure I knew what the right shade would be for my teeth because there was no turning back once I chose the shade. She gave me reassurance that I picked the right one (thanks to her help and guidance). Once I got to my final appointment to put these bad boys in — looked absolutely amazing and couldn’t have asked for more perfect teeth and shade!
If you are getting crowns and they have to send them to a lab, ask the dentist if they use Sherry Precision Dental. If so — make sure they use em for your teeth work! You won’t be disappointed with the results. Thanks Sherry! :)
