I moved here August of this year and here’s my take… Main points: –Very family friendly –Kind neighbors –Clean & well maintained –Quiet during the day and at night(the exception being evening when kids are running around). –Very affordable With my living situation it has been an ideal fit. I have 7 and 9 year old boys who are rowdy and need space to run around. This was a concern being in an apartment, but with the mostly enclosed court yard, I can let them outside year round and not worry about strangers happening by, cars, stray dogs or anything else we had encountered living in a house off a street. Also, nearly all the neighbors have kids ranging from toddlers to teenagers. This has proved to be a great benefit as they are tolerant of my kids’ noise while I am tolerant of their kids’ noise. Also, it has provided built in friends for my kids. *Note: if you are not someone who likes being around kids or hearing their noise I’d advise against this complex. Especially in summer there can be up to 15 kids running around the courtyard playing at full volume riding scooters and bikes. The manager, Mary, has been super responsive to any needs we have and is very approachable. The complex itself is adorable and as a converted hotel from the 60’s has a unique feel to it. The apartment is bigger than it looks on the website layout. We have the 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath and find it to be the exact amount of space we need. Each newly available apartment is renovated and very well done. Finally, the price can’t be beat. In the heart of Cupertino paying under 3k a month is hard to come by, especially with all new appliances, paint, carpet and flooring!

Good — Very inexpensive in a Cupertino neighborhood. At the time I was paying $ 1200 for a 2 bedroom. — Manager is nice and comes to fix things as needed. — The grass /pool is well taken care of. Bad — Insulation of the structure is terrible. I can hear every step the people above me take. Sometimes when I have people over, I can hear the neighbors stomping on the wall or ceiling to shut us up. — Kids, kids, kids. Can be a good thing or bad thing, but I can hear kids playing in the grass area almost everyday. — In the year I stayed, something happened with the water pipe and my entire kitchen was flooded one day when I returned from work. Was not pretty at all. — Rats were around for a good 34 months. You can hear them in the kitchen. Would not repeat
