After I drove 25 miles to an Estate Sale for which MovingGreenToday was the liquidator, I was told by their personnel that I can’t do price checks on my smart phone. I asked to talk to a supervisor which turned out to be the company owner who confirmed this strange«policy». While I respect their right to set unusual policies, it was not at all mentioned in the 7 page long Estate Sale Description which was the reason I traveled all the way to location. Checking prices is important for me since obviously I don’t like to pay a price higher than current retail price for used good however excellent their condition might be. In general, while their personnel were polite, it didn’t seem they were really interested in selling their client’s stuff. Most of the goods were priced way above the current market price. I am also now sure how much of this policy had to do with me being a brown skinned oddity. Anyway, I have blacklisted MovingGreenToday since I had to spend time and money traveling 25 miles each way in SF Bay Area traffic on a weekend when I could have spent that time with my family. If you’re someone who is looking for a professional to help them with Estate Sales, you may want to check their references. Also, please ask them how they dispose off the unsold items — I’d be wary if they claim they give it to donation on your behalf,
