Excellent Customer Service! Came here upon a quick search on Unilocal for a good bakery spot in the area. Thank God myself and the hubby could stop by at the right place. We were in a hurry and needed cupcakes as we were heading to a party(more Kids were expected to be present at the party). Soon after rushing in here, I was so glad to spot Mini Cupcakes for a nice deal($ 1.50 each). Owners/staff at the counter were extremely friendly and attended us patiently while we were choosing the flavors. Their flavor suggestions helped us in deciding with our final purchase. It’s a cute little shop with great variety of cakes and pastries to choose from. Wish we had enough time to experience more. Their menu display was so inviting. We would love to go back again sometime in the future just to try their other popular ones!

So I stumbled upon this place when my mom needed to do some grocery shopping, and I had to fix a pair of shoes at the nearby shoe repair place. The inside is like a typical café, not to big or small, and in the middle there is an island for bread and other food bits. They also sell little cute cupcakes and other desserts at the counter. The service was alright, nothing bad or good to say about it. So my mom ordered a Dutch on the Rock and I ordered a regular latte and a small red velvet cupcake. It was a bit pricey here, all of that was $ 10+. The cupcake was a bit too sweet and sticky in my opinion although the cute little raspberry on top was good. And sure, the latte had a cute latte art on it, but it was way too creamy and left me feeling a little bit sick. My mom said her coffee was pretty standard and nothing stood out too much. The service was alright I guess, and the overall theme is cute, but I won’t be coming here anymore as the prices here are a bit steep and their overall drinks weren’t too great.

Tucked away in a small plaza so I wouldn’t have even known about La Terra if it weren’t for Unilocal! Hubs & I stopped by after dinner for some dessert. Hubs got the yogurt cheesecake & I got 3 mini cupcakes(red velvet, blueberry, strawberry). Quality was definitely there. The yogurt cheesecake was pleasantly surprising considering the combo. Very rich. The cupcakes were not as soft as I’d like, but they were kept cold along with the other cakes. However, the taste was awesome with the red velvet as my favorite. I’m a sucker for cream cheese frosting: P The cashier that day was a guy & super helpful in helping me pick out my mini cupcakes. Customer service was super friendly & quick. I’ll definitely come back for a sweet snack the next time I’m in the area :)

I hate to say it because this place is so cute– but it didn’t taste good. I got three things– ice cream(which was good, but isn’t ice cream always good?) bread pudding and cupcake. Cupcake was very bad, like frozen and defrosted. Bread pudding is fine, pretty tasteless. I saw a lot of people drinking tea, maybe this is a place to get drinks not treats.

I think their Green Tea Latte is one of the best in the South Bay. It reminds me of how Japan makes their Green Tea Lattes. Not too sweet. Their green tea mini cupcake is pretty good too. This café is never too crowded or noisy.

I was there three times or more, I always got great cappuccinos, various mousse desserts and tea. I will come back there to try their lavender ice cream. They have very nice design of drinkware, always kind servants. Small but cozy place. You need luck to get vacant table.

We checked this place out for the first time with my wife and our baby. I ordered the affocato while my wife ordered an iced americano and a strawberry shortcake. Their coffee was pretty good since they use coffee from intelligensia. I also tried their green tea latte which was really good as well. The place is pretty quiet and clean. Staff is very friendly as well. Don’t forget to get your stamps for a future free drink. They have a great selection of cakes and bread. You should check this place out.

This is my neighborhood café. I love their pastries however most of their pastries are mini-sized. Twice, I took my two kids here and remember having to buy them more because the size. Their cake slices are out of this world — small. And expect to pay $$$ for these. I keep on coming back because of the coffee. All in all, not bad.

We were craving some pastries around 9am and this was the only place open at this time. The shop itself is in a plaza and interior is super cute and clean. Disclaimer: This review is from a dessert snob and based on what we ordered. FOOD: They offer organic pastries with ingredients listed on the signs with very cute displays. A cookie for $ 2 is a bit much in my opinion though. We settles for: 1) Valentine cake($ 4.75) — the heart cake is not something I would usually order, but the description of the ingredients caught my attention. White chocolate with pistachio mousse. yum! As so I thought. The taste was far from the description. The only pistachio we tasted was a small piece in the center. The rest of the cake tasted like soft artificial fondant and little plastic-y. Did not enjoy it at all. 2) Matcha and vanilla cupcake($ 1.50 each) — vanilla was okay, but frosting was too hard and artificial tasting. The matcha didn’t have enough matcha flavor but texture was good. Overall, the displays and cake look very attractive, but fell short on taste and flavor. Perhaps their other pastries taste better than what we tried? SERVICE: Maybe it was only us, but the girl in the front seem to have a bit of an attitude, when we asked her about the flavor of the cupcakes(because they weren’t labeled) she informed us in a tone like it should have be obvious what flavor the cupcakes were. AMBIANCE: The store itself was probably the best aspect of this shop. Bright and clean and very nice displays. A decent amount of seating and bathroom included. Also plenty of parking!

Gochi is one of my favorite restaurants. Out of curiosity, I popped by here after lunch. They have a large selection of teas that can be made hot or cold! They also have some coffees as well, but I had a much larger selection with their teas. I ended up ordering a lychee coconut unsweetened iced tea. It sounded super delicious to me, but unfortunately it wasn’t as amazing as I expected it to be. Definitely not ordering drinks from here again. I also tried out their gluten free mini cupcake which came in a chocolate flavor. Not only was it super tiny, but it was disgusting. The frosting tasted like a butter stick, except it was brown. Perhaps it looks like that because they mixed the butter with cacao powder? The cake itself was super dry! Not good at all. Don’t waste your money or calories on it. Not worth it! I would have given this place 1 star, but the person behind the counter was super helpful and for that, I had to acknowledge good service. Good service only gets you so far if your product isn’t up to par. I was hoping my experience would be better, but I really didn’t like anything I ordered. Therefore, I don’t think I’ll be back.

This was my first time here at La Terra and my experience was mediocre. The décor there was cute; an island displaying their pastries dominated the room, leaving space for a few small tables and a bar for four people on the right side. Despite the limited seating, there weren’t that many customers so there was plenty space for my group. This would be a great place to catch up with a couple friends because of their nice drink variety(green tea lattes, boba, coffee) and ambience. I bought the Green Tea Latte. It was packed with matcha-y goodness, but might taste too strong for others. My friend ordered the Americano, which was ok but not the best. Their pastry selection was small(and PRICEY too!); most of their products were already sold out. It was too cold for ice cream, although I might come back for their lavender flavored ice cream some day. I eventually decided on trying La Terra’s desserts. The price for the mini cupcakes were crazy! They charged $ 1.50 for a cupcake the width of a quarter. Instead, I picked out a mango mousse. The mousse wasn’t creamy at all and had a frothy texture. Overall, my experience wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. The ambience is nice and perfect if you’re looking for a place to sit and relax with a cup of coffee. I just hope La Terra decides to lower the prices for their products.

Best croissant in the bay!!! Show up right at opening, I go at 10am on Sunday, for hot, fresh pastries. A perfect classic French croissant, warm flakey exterior with a hot buttery inside. Vive le croissant!!! Also excellent coffee, no drip just the real stuff!

I dropped in to get some baked goods prior to our Gochi reservation. Picked up a few varieties of brioches only to be severely disappointed. Everything was dry and crumbly and aside from having a «classic brioche» shape, it had did not have the texture and consistency of brioche bread. Very sad. Very disappointed. When there are plenty of Asian/Euro fusion bakeries around, this place will only fool me once. Also they insisted on charging me for a bag when clearly the owners need to review the bag ordinance in Cupertino and be informed that they fall under the exemption list and have been essentially ripping off the dime each customer pays for the bag fee. In case they read my review, here’s the excerpt from the city ordinance: Exemptions Customers paying with WIC, CalFresh, or other food stamp cards are exempt from the ordinance requirements. Dry cleaners. Any public eating establishment that generates 90% or more of their revenue from prepared food(e.g. restaurants). Nonprofit charitable reusers(e.g. Goodwill). Protective bags, without handles, used to segregate and transport items to the checkout stand, such as meat, produce, greeting cards, wine bottles, live fish, or bulk items(e.g. dried fruit, bolts and nails).

Just as I was getting so tired of Starbuck’s too-loud-to-concentrate music and ever-so-dirty tables, I found myself driving to this dream of a coffee shop. It’s such an exquisite place. First, everything here is absolutely beautiful. The music is soothing and not too loud. The tables are clean and inviting. The coffee tastes like REAL coffee and it’s served like REAL coffee too. Bottom line, this place is a bliss. If you decide to give this place a try, know that there’s a lot of choices for beautiful deserts and savory pastries that would work well for breakfast or lunch. The one thing that would make this place perfect for me, is if they had electric outlets near the walls. Good thing my laptop’s battery lasts 4 hours J

I can’t believe I’ve never visited this place. Its small but gives a very warm and comforting vibe as you walk in. The guy in the front was very helpful and gave us awesome recommendations on what is good to be mixed with milk. I’ve always loved the Tea Forte brand, and I’m so happy this is what they use here. Their pearls are very sweet. not sure if I like it. Their breads were yummy as well. The Taro custards bread is a must try :)

Very clean, nice and sweet. Not only the sugary items for sale, also the girls working there very welcoming and I had the feeling to be in some sort of Paris baguette with more personal approach. I found this place just because doing some grocery shopping at the market in the same strip mall, and notice the very Mediterranean name of this bakery. Spacious, pleasant to the eye, it is a great place for moms with small kids(for what I saw) and small groups of friends(mostly ladies, maybe we have more of a sweat tooth!). Pastries are displayed beautifully by the counter, and also you will see a big central area with some other pastries to go more accessible. Bathroom is super clean and accessible

Eh. Mediocre at best. I was excited to try this place and was highly disappointed. I walked into a mob of strollers and stay at home mommies having a pow wow of some sort i guess. Ok sure no biggie, except it would have been nice to not have so many strollers blocking the entrance. But… that’s besides the point. The real reason I’m not too fond of this bakery is there was absolutely no customer service, not even a hello. Even with 2 employees standing behind the counter. I tried asking a couple questions regarding the baked goodies with no enthusiasm what-so-ever. Soooo… I made the purchase of 4 mini cupcakes and a few other goodies to-go for my daughters. Let’s just cut to the chase… the cupcakes were old & stale. They didn’t try the cupcakes until we got home. The other baked goods were just OK(and that’s being on the nice side), I think having them sealed helped with them going stale. We actually ended up throwing away the cookie and milk bun, which is rare in our house. Huuge disappointment. I love paying patronage to small businesses but we definitely won’t be back.
