The Kaiser system is designed to share information among practitioners so things can go very wrong and did for my family — 1) a private (and inaccurate) health assessment became public and negatively affected my relationships with all my doctors. The way the mistake was made by an intern meant that it could not be removed from my record despite its crossing legal boundaries of privacy and 2) a complaint about a pediatrician also was «shared» and meant we never found another doctor that gave us anything but rudeness. Kaiser may work for plain vanilla health needs but it’s not designed with your privacy or satisfaction in mind. We experienced the same thing at Kaiser San Jose.
