There was a racist white pig manning the store when I got there. He said all Hispanics deserved to be deported. He is probably the long lost son of Donald Trump. And you are telling me that because… I am not even Hispanic, maybe I look like one. But hey, I ordered latte not horchata skinhead! The guy wears shabby clothes to work, reeks with pungent cigarette smell and has bad breath. But what smells worse is his bigotry and reprehensible attitude. I will never go back even if he promised he will give up his membership with the KKK! What a waste of life. His Mom should have swallowed him instead.

This is THE place to get work done. Conveniently right across the street from De Anza College with a bunch of comfy couches and recliner. Don’t just come here to get work done, take an intermittent nap break too! Lots of us do hehe. Lots of rather intelligent folks come through here and it’s nice to people watch and listen in on thought provoking conversations. Coffee and tea are both great. I have only two complaints. 1. A wider variety of food and perhaps some healthier options would be nice. 2. The wifi can be really hit or miss, so if there’s a way to improve upon that, that would be great. I love it here though, and I come here every day. It helps me focus when im surrounded by other de anza students who are also focusing heavily.

The coffee! If you love a really good cup of coffee, their’s is the best! Everyone here are always friendly and there’s a nice variety of baked goods and sandwiches. The place itself is very plain.

They make a great coffee but the place is falling apart. It is dirty and no money is put in basic infrastructure(chairs are fixed up by using rope !?!). Owner should invest some money back in the business instead milking it.

A loud coffee shop with sparatic seating inside. It is more of a social coffee place than a get work done one. A cup of coffee and conversation would be the only thing you can do here. It’s too loud to reaad a book or concentrate on work, even with music on in your headphones. Couches are worn out and the walls are dirty, and not in the«grandma’s living room» like run down kind of worn. The parking lot is usually a pain point too.

Good coffee, fast Wifi, plenty of seating outside and in. Got a French Vanilla Soy Latte and it was delish. Some of the chairs and tables are in better condition than others. Choose wisely. Open later than the area chain coffee shops.

Really great to come here when you have a long gap in between your classes at de anza. It’s comfortable and cozy :)

It seems like most of the negative reviews on this page come from people complaining and whining about 1st world problems. Such a shock for a city like Cupertino. By far the best coffee around campus, and very reasonably priced! As someone who has worked at Philz Coffee in San Francisco, I must say that the coffee here is excellent, if not better. In my opinion, the only difference between the two location’s coffees are the many flavors and aromas of Philz; otherwise coffee here is on point, and satisfies my much needed fix every morning. The burritos are the same exact ones sold at Philz. Super delicious and well worth the money! Don’t complain about the $ 4 price bc theses burritos are quality ingredients, and sold for much more at other places. As for the other foods, I can’t say anything there because I’ve never tried them, but there’s a good selection of cakes, pastries, and savory choices. I absolutely love the layout of this place! Plenty of seating indoors and out. Plus lots and lots of outlets for all those desperate students scrambling to charge their phones and laptops. Not to mention the cozy couches you can just sink into! Perfect place for studies, essays, and meet ups! And service is always friendly. Never any complaints there.

I’m probably not going to come to this coffee shop anymore. $ 7.25 for a medium coffee and small lemon cake is overpriced. The Wi-Fi is slow(0.3 mb down) with only 15 – 20 people here. Starbucks is about the same price, but at least their internet is pretty fast.

I got a breakfast burrito here, coffee cake, and and iced coffee, but paid Starbucks prices . The Breakfast burrito said«keep frozen» «perishable» on the front of it. I’m not sure how long it had been sitting in the case before I had gotten it, also was thawed out, which I imagine they just take it out of the freezer and put it out for display the morning. Although, it bothered me was that there was no expiration date on it anywhere to be found, so if I don’t know when it expires how is Coffee Society going to know when it expires. I put my trust in coffee society so I went ahead and ate it because I was starving, although now I’ve been having to go to the bathroom for the last hour. I have to be honest it was a really good burrito, I just wish there was a date on it so I know whether or not it was the burrito that made my stomach upset or something else. Also the plastic chairs for the outside are so flimsy that when I sat down my chair fell back although I was able to catch myself before hitting my head on the concrete. I recommend grabbing on of the metal ones if they’re not all taken.

The ambience here SUCKS. The last time I came here, the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and there was a stinky aroma floating around. The coffee here is also just an okay for me. I guess the ONLY plus is the free wifi. I would rather study at home OR go to the bay club from now on…

Honestly my favorite coffee place. The oreo milkshake is the best you’ve ever had, and the Baristas are friendly and remember your name. They even give you a discount for being a regular customer! There is a very bright dining area, as well as a well-lit back room with multiple comfy couches and a bookshelf. There’s always a space to sit down and enjoy yourself and your drink or treat, even when it’s busy. Lots of outlets to charge your computer or phone, and free wifi makes this a great space to do some work. The friendly atmosphere and medium-low noise level makes it perfect for meeting a friend or holding a study session. I couldn’t ask for a better space.

Not a very good espresso. Crema was light and very thin. Shot tasted like the beans were aged and over-roasted. I noticed the barista didn’t tamp at all. Never seen that before.

I’ve only been here a few times whenever I’ve been nearby and in need of some coffee. This place seems to be especially popular amongst the students across the street at De Anza, as you will most likely see a good chunk of them here on school days. Some facts: * In addition to coffee, you can get pastries, sandwiches, freshly roasted coffee beans and gelato, among other things. * There is an ATM available for your convenience. * There is both indoor and outdoor seating(including a back room with couches on the inside). Pros: + The coffee is decent, especially compared to other places. + Most transactions are quick. + Free wi-fi available Cons: — Not much of a designated area to stand in line. You essentially have to form your own line, depending upon how busy it is. — Maybe it’s just me, but my coffee has always been ridiculously hot.(Yes, coffee is normally hot. I know this. But, IMO, the coffee I’ve had at Coffee Society each time has always been hot to the point where the coffee sleeve/zarf has been useless.) — On one occasion, the barista(who was also the cashier) forgot to add the vanilla to my vanilla latte. Luckily, he realized his mistake and apologized and added it immediately. There’s nothing particularly special about this coffee shop. I can only see myself returning if I’m in the area, but personally I would not go out of my way to come here. 3 stars

Nice local coffee shop in Cupertino. Across De Anza college. Before I went to Flint Center there, I stopped here to get coffee. I had latte. It was really good. Most people are studying or working and quiet. I wish I lived nearby.

CHOCOLATECREAMCHEESEMUFFIN. Am I the only one excited about this? Starbucks carried this years ago but stopped and I haven’t found a place that has them until now! A simple chocolate muffin with cream cheese in the middle-so great. The menu here is pretty large. The workers are nice and explain it to you. Many different coffee drinks, smoothies(you can«mix&match» flavors to make your own as well), pastries, and ice cream. Lots of seats, but is filled quickly because of it’s walking distance from de anza. Their coffee is standard. The smoothies I think are great though, especially the peach and mango. So creamy and smooth!

LOVE how they have both almond and soy milks. There is a wide array of syrup flavors and they are friendly. Coffee is a bit bitter but it is close to me work(within walking distance) so I will return :)

Great location to get quiet studying/working done while sipping through great tasting coffee. Very foamy cappuccino. People were respectfully quiet like a library and I could get quality work done. Very much enjoyed my time at this coffee shop. Didn’t really feel like the baristas were friendly like you would expect at most Starbucks. But I didn’t have a problem ordering my coffee and cheesecake.

One of my favorite places to study. Coffee here is cheap and awesome and they’ve got amazing cakes, pastries and gelato. Service is always great as well. No, it’s not fancy and the interior is kind of bland. It’s right across from De Anza College, so it definitely geared more towards students in need of caffeine and a quiet place to do work. It’s pretty big too so I’ve never had a problem finding seating, and no complaints about the wifi. Lots of small tables though so if you’re planning to come with friends and you all have books, computers, etc, you might have trouble sitting together comfortably.

Location is right across the street from De Anza college, so it’s full of students with laptops– it’s actually oddly quiet due to the studying going on, so if you’re with a chatty group of friends and don’t want to be glared at for the duration of your visit, you might want to sit on the patio. Staff is friendly, pastry/food selection is decent, but the highlight of the menu is the Hot Hazelnut– I don’t know what’s in the hazelnut syrup sauce they use but it looks like Nutella but doesn’t taste chocolatey. It’s probably straight up heroin, but when put in a cup with a cardboard sleeve, it’s socially acceptable.
