Wow. Bacon egg and cheese and tomato biscuit. Today was a special day. The guy at the window recommended this and man was he right. This is the best biscuit I’ve had there by far so far. Yes sometimes the biscuits come out a little hard, but this is how I like them today they were extra fresh. Recommended for anybody needing breakfast on the run. Definitely the best breakfast place in Cumming Georgia.

Great food! Fast counter service & food is consistently good. I love their chicken salad & highly recommend! Small facility so elbows do bump from time to time when crowded. Place also appears that it might benefit from a good scrub and minor decluttering. In the area, they’re are not many options, especially non-chain, non-fast food restaurants. Definitely worth a go!

Small restaurant but excellent food. Didn’t have space to sit but had to go. Would highly recommend anybody to eat the cheese grits. Hope they grow bigger and get a bigger space. I’m glad I drove 10 miles from alpharetta to find this awesome restaurant

Just came in from Arizona and stoped by. I haven’t had a homemade biscuit this good since my grandma passed away 27 years ago. I didn’t know anyone knew how to make real biscuits anymore. Gives me hope for humanity.

I have been coming here for about 10 years. Whomever has anything negative to say is crazy. Regardless, nothing is better than homeade food! Chicken biscuits, saugage, everything is yummy for a great price and portion!!! Thank you for serving us great food!

Super sweet and very accommodating. Called the day before my daughters First Communion to see if they could do a large catering/to go order since La Cazuela bailed. They were absolutely awesome and the best southern BBQ we’ve had. Family from the north still rave about the spread: smoked pulled pork & chicken, mac and cheese, green beans, biscuits and coleslaw! We have loved their breakfast since moving here a year ago, but now we love their lunches, too!!!

Friendly, delicious, fast, and cheap. I love their cheese grits and biscuits. I have only been here for breakfast a few times but it never disappoints.

My entire family loves this place, husband and both kids are always happy to stop here and drive thru and bring it home. Perfect ‘hole in the wall’ biscuit place. Bacon egg and cheese is our go to. Try the hash brown rounds – trust me!

I had been looking forward to stopping in here for MONTHS. So when I finally had the chance, I ordered two different biscuits to try: the tenderloin and the sausage gravy. The biscuits were cooked to a hard crust on the outside, which was disappointing to me. I prefer tender biscuits. I tried to get past that, and bit into it anyway. The tenderloin pieces were fine — nothing special. A little tough to be placed on a biscuit — especially when the biscuit itself was tougher. The sausage gravy was nice and thick, but there was no flavor. And barely any sausage. It was definitely a disappointment, all around. I might go back one day and try the lunch menu, but everything seems to be served cafeteria style, so I’m not sure it’s worth the 30 minute drive. The price is right, though, so I’m likely to stop if I happen to be in the area.

This morning was our first visit and we loved the local, hole-in-the wall feel of this place. The biscuits lived up to the hype! I had a chicken biscuit(YUM!) and cheese grits that were excellent once I added salt. My husband tried the biscuits and gravy and he’s usually very judgmental about gravy, but this place passed his taste test with flying colors! My daughter had a cinnamon roll which seemed to be made from fluffy biscuit dough rather than chewy yeast dough. It was good, but we’ve definitely had better cinnamon rolls. Overall, I’d say we were very pleased with our visit and will definitely be back.

Forsyth County native: One of the best breakfast locations in North Georgia. Everything I have had at this restaurant has been great however you will have to stand in the long lines to enjoy the food. Since the day this place opened they have been packed with customers, try the break fast bowl with hash-browns, eggs, sausage and cheese and you will not be disappointed.

The line was out to door this morning! The breakfast was so good. I’d stand in line every time. Cheese grits are just like grandma used to make. The bacon is fabulous. It’s cooked on a flat top griddle. I can’t say enough abt this place. Check it out

This is a great local restaurant that I recently stumbled upon on Unilocal.Their biscuits are well-sized, fresh, and delicious. One of the staff members even brought my dog out a piece of bacon this morning after seeing him in the drive-through! Great breakfast destination!

Definitely a great biscuit place! This is going to be a Compare and Contrast review to Fagan’s Biscuit Barn. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place because Fagan’s is not open on Sundays. I ordered a sausage biscuit and some banana pudding. My boyfriend ordered a biscuit with gravy as well as hashbrowns. — The hashbrowns were AWESOME — The banana pudding was good but Fagan’s definitely was better. — I liked the fact that this place had biscuits that weren’t flaky or come apart easy like Fagan’s, but Fagan’s biscuits taste a lot more scratch-made. — Was not very impressed with their sweet tea since I like mine super sweet, it was just so-so. I would go here again but it’s not my most favorite biscuit place.

If you want breakfast in Cumming, it doesn’t get better. Growing up in Forsyth County, this was the place where everyone went for breakfast before school. It’s that kind of place where friendly, neighborly people go to catch up with each other over some Southern-style grits and biscuits. Because of this, it has a lovely, warm atmosphere. Though it is both a dine-in and drive thru restaurant, service can take a bit longer as things are made fresh, and it doesn’t follow the the«get them in, get them out» paradigm. Quality is never sacrificed in order to present the quickest service possible, which is completely fine with me. I have had a variety of things from their menu for both breakfast and lunch. They have one of the best chicken biscuits around, and their sausage biscuit isn’t bad either. I absolutely love their cheese grits, reminds me of my grandma’s! I recently stopped in here for lunch with my mom, and we both got bacon cheeseburgers and fries. They were both excellent! Bacon was crispy, not chewy like most bacon cheeseburgers, and fries were perfectly cooked without a ton of salt poured on them. If you are in the Cumming area, you must stop by and enjoy That Biscuit Place and relish the sweet, slow, Southern lifestyle!

Heck yeah! Saturday morning? Biscuit craving? Anywhere nearby? Then get in here, grab the biscuit with your choice of meats, throw on an egg(spoiler alert: this is NOT a granola stand — nothing against granola mind you) and you’re good to go. Local place run by a committed owner/cook and staff that never seems to have an off day. BTW, my 5-star is for the breakfast offerings(haven’t had their lunch) but the other lunch menu items look similarly tasty.

First time here on July 1st, and we loved it. After a morning of fishing Vann’s Tavern on Lake Lanier, you gotta have biscuits and gravy, ya know? Philip had been here before and recommended it. I like the local feel of the place, and they serve breakfast up until noon. Both of us got biscuits and gravy, and loved them. The biscuits are handmade and fresh. Sausage gravy dumped all over them. And you guys know I always post cool pictures.

I eat at That Biscuit Place anywhere from 1 to 5 times a week. It helps that it’s close, but the food is amazing, and service is of course very friendly. They have a website now… Menu’s on there for those of you who have yet to visit.
