Magnolia Medspa

I look forward to going in for facials at Magnolia Medspa. It’s such a relaxing environment. I had acne as a teen, so I was pretty hesitant about facials going in. I decided to try it when a friend of mine started raving about her experience and bought a package. I asked Sonya a lot of questions during my consultation, which she took the time to answer in a way I could understand (bless her for being patient with me). She had Barb come in and look at my skin and they laid out a regimen to fight my dryness without causing an outbreak. Let me tell you– that Hydrafacial is an amazing thing. I never have once broken out from them. (I now consider it an essential part of my skincare regimen.) My primary aesthetician, Robin is extremely knowledgeable and patient with my combination skin. I have a package– and have gotten facials with Barb a couple times also. She’s very professional and does a great job with the dermaplane. They have me on a regimen that (while not inexpensive) has made a big difference for my skin.
During my first consultation, Sonya recommended I try Botox on my forehead. I was hesitant at first as usual, and it took me a few visits to come around to the idea. They were patient, didn’t push me at all. Soon after I saw my friend had had her lips injected, and it was subtle, so I figured he knew what he was doing and I’d give it a shot. When I came around to the idea, I was so happy I did! Dr. Kennedy’s work is so natural looking, he earned my trust completely. He’s very thoughtful and meticulous. You can tell he cares about his work (which is important when you’re talking about your face!)

I am so incredibly happy with my experience at Magnolia Medspa! I had my first Hydrafacial and absolutely loved it. My face feels so fresh and rejuvenated. It is way better than any other facial I have ever had. The machine they use actually feels like it is sucking the dead skin off of your face, but wasn’t irritating or painful at all, slightly relaxing and I came out glowing!
The Esthetician Barbara was such a pleasure and you can tell she knows so much about skin care as she has been doing this for 15 years. She customized my treatment to exactly what my skin needed since I have dry cheeks and an oily T-​zone.
The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Victoria the owner was so sweet and made sure that I was comfortable. She answered all of my questions!
I never felt pressured to buy anything, but I really liked the Vital C serum and the tinted daily moisturizer with SPF 45 that Barbara used on me so I picked that up.
I am looking forward to returning and trying one of the lasers next :)

I am only giving two stars because the Esthetician was very nice, and the place was nicely decorated. I only am writing this review because I expressed my dissatisfaction directly with the owner, and all she did was apologize, and then sadly threw her own employee (the Esthetician) under the bus.
I went in for a Hydrafacial, and told them it was my first time going to get this type of service. I usually go to hotel spas, and was going to a med spa for the first time. My skin had a reaction to one of the serums, so I paid extra for an LED light mask to help calm my skin down before I left. This took extra time. Some time into my facial, the girl who worked the front desk came into the room and asked what was taking so long. What shocked me was the rude tone she used speaking to the Esthetician. The Esthetician explained that my face was extremely reddened and she was going to take time to calm my skin down before I left. At that point I felt extremely uncomfortable. When it was time to pay, the owner was standing at the front desk. Her entire demeanor came off condescending to me, when the Esthetician was still explaining why my treatment took longer than usual. The way the staff spoke to this Esthetician was rude, and I asked to speak to the owner to voice my complaint as to why I felt rushed out, uncomfortable, and embarrassed for the Esthetician. She came back to the front, and then proceeded to tell me that it was poor communication on the Esthetician’s part, and someone was waiting after me, and it’s very hard on them when something takes longer than expected.
Being that I was spending over $ 200 for a service, I was shocked at how all of this became my problem, and how rude the staff was to the Esthetician. I told the owner I didn’t want to ever return, and she didn’t seem to care. Nor did she offer to do anything to rectify the situation. The poor Esthetician took longer because she was trying to have me leave happy, and yet the owner couldn’t care less.
There are plenty of spas where I live in Buckhead, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time traveling to this one. They do not care about the client experience, or if you leave happy or not. But they will gladly take your money!
(I left the Esthetician a tip, and genuinely feel bad for her that she works there.)

Had a great experience here yesterday! The staff was amazing and Dr. Kennedy was professional and very friendly. Very clean and affordable! No need for me to drive into Buckhead any more for my skincare needs.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this spa! I walked in anticipating a sterile environment. That was not the case AT ALL. The décor is lovely and you can tell they made a point to add personalized touches to each room. I personally loved the chandeliers! Each team member was super welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I have to admit that I was anxious, because I was receiving laser for the first time. Barbara guided me through every step of the process and even tested it on my arm to help me understand what was going to happen. I was prepared for absolute torture! Boy, was I wrong! The laser was more of an annoying feel than a painful one. The entire process took only 20 minutes. They told me to expect irritation, but gave me some cream to help calm my skin. Despite my sensitive skin, I didn’t have any irritation! Woohoo!!! I’m going back for my second treatment later this month and am actually excited to have it done. Haha! I also got a hydrofacial while I was there — such a cool process. I’m a first timer, but my skin felt super smooth afterward. Barbara knew I was headed to drinks afterward, so put some moisturizing tint on my skin. I added a little powder and voila! I was ready for a fun night with a girlfriend! Thanks to all for a great experience. I cannot wait to get back later this month… this time I’m getting botox! I’ll be sure to update my review after that experience!!!

I absolutely love my micro needling and hydra facials from April. She is so incredibly knowledgeable and knows exactly what I need. Her years of experience definitely shine through in my end results. I do recommend this place to all my friends.

They listen to my concerns and give advice tailored to my unique needs. Cumming, GA is fortunate to have a medspa of this caliber within reach. You will find state-​of-​the-​art equipment and products not available at other so-​called «medspas». Trust me. I have tried the others. There is no comparison…

I love this place… got a ls voucher for botox, the staff was so nice and helpful, they gave me tips that actually recommended me to get LESS botox and save money bc it was best for me and sent me out the door with a goodie back with samples as well… the place was easy to find, clean, and the doctor was very nice and professional as expected from a medical practice. i just had the best experience here and am so excited to return in a few months.
