After answering an advertisement in my local newspaper, I made an appointment to visit LCM on a Thursday to discuss investment opportunities. An officer of the company and I spent an hour discussing various options and I left with some written information as well his recommendations along with a promise to get back to me. I ended up calling him the following week on a Wednesday and communicated that I wasn’t interested in the product he previously presented and I wanted to find out if there were other options to discuss. I was told he would get back to me later that day. Well, not only did that day come and go without a call back, but an entire week went by with no phone call. Why would I want to invest with a company who couldn’t even return a simple phone call? If there were no alternatives to present as far as my investment requirements, I would at least expect a simple«I’m sorry but we have nothing to fit that criteria» response. It’s just common courtesy, which I did not find with LCM.
