Kroger

Our family are big Kroger fans but this location is changing that. It’s dirty. There are flies. There is often expired food on the shelves. And to top it off, my husband recently visited late at night and found they were doing renovations. Only, they did not cover the food around them so they had produce and deli items exposed to wood shavings, metal particles, and flammable chemicals. Who runs a table saw in the middle of the deli department? Apparently the contractors working at this location. It was very unsafe. The manager was alerted but didn’t seem too concerned and did not tell the workers to stop working. Very disappointed in his response. Food safety is already a huge issue with all the chemicals they put in our foods, now we have to have to be worried about how it is handled at the grocery store? This was the tipping point. Yes, we filed a complaint to corporate because this was just downright unsafe. So for now, we’ll be going to the Publix near our home. Bye, Kroger.

Dirtiest Kroger ever. We’ve bought expired food several times on accident. It smells dirty as well, especially the seafood and meat area. There are quite the array of flies around the deli on a summer evening.
But, like others have said, it’s close to home and has a good natural section.

This Kroger needs to be closed down. Dirty inside, terrible seafood and meat section. Management is selling expired food items. It needs to be investigate by the health department. Something is not quite right with the management of this place.

I like Kroger and shop here often. I decided to get a veggie sub for dinner. The bread was old and the sandwich was horrible!!! I’ll buy my subs someplace else. Even Publix has better subs than this!

The only reason I go to this store is because it’s the only store close to my house. Otherwise I would never go. It smells and always feels dirty. They do have a decent organic and specialty food section, and that is why they get three stars.

I’m a Kroger fan, but this location is awful. The store is horribly outdated and the worst produce section I’ve ever seen. If they’re not sold out of it-it’s too old. You literally have to check every item’s expiration date to make sure you’re not buying something that’s about to, or already expired-​especially anything in the dairy department. They do have friendly staff and a better organic section than the nearby Publix.

Kroger is the best of the chains here. Prices are consistently lower than the other big chains, and if you buy when the yellow tag is on what you need, you can save some $. In addition, you can get a nice discount on their competitively priced gas if you use the Kroger Card. The store manager seems to be out on the floor a good bit and that’s probably a good way to manage a grocery.

The biggest reason I go to Kroger just because it’s pretty close to the house. But I don’t have a very large selection organic products. So it’s okay, I give it three stars.

This is an OK grocery store. This Kroger is not my go-​to store but they do carry items that my go-​to store does not. I shop usually when they have special deals. They have a gas station and if you spend $ 100 in a month, you can gas up and get 10 cents off per gallon. I wish this store were a bit cleaner and better organized. All of the unconventional/​organic foods are segregated into their own special section. My BIL loves this but frankly, I don’t want to have to chase down my soy milk because it has been deemed «healthy». It isn’t even organic but it still gets thrown into that section. The store has its benefits and it is a perfectly acceptable grocery store.
Pros: a entire section of organic/​unconventional foods, frequent mega deals (buy 4 of a particular item, save $ 4, for example), good meat counter, small shopping carts (and regular sized ones too), receipt prints the percentage you saved using coupons and other store special pricing/​sales
