I agree with the first post completely. This is a BUSINESS not a care provider. I have several reasons for terminating this practice as my provider, but without going on and on, a couple examples are: Each time I went in, it was like I was here for the first time. Susanne, who I saw each time, never seemed to have any recollection of previous visits, as I had to remind her of everything previously explained. I understand that they have a lot of patients, and it would be impossible to remember every single detail, but it was like she didn’t even take 2 minutes to simply review my chart. It was impossible to progress at all as each time it was like starting over. And keep in mind, they have you come every single week for the first couple of months, so there was not much of a time lapse between each one. I was also«tricked» into taking a test for ADHD, the TOVA test. I was told before taking the test, that I may need to start taking a low dose of Aderall. I took the test, paid out of pocket, and was then told that I would need to be a patient of theirs for a year, before the would consider prescribing me the medication THEY suggested in the first place. Please stay away from this place.

I was referred to this office from my OB/GYN after I began suffering from post partum depression and anxiety. Susan, the woman I saw there, is great – she’s very calming and understanding. However, I have a huge problem with the policies of this office. They are clearly out to make money off their patients. They charge a $ 100 fee if you miss an appointment. Ok, fair enough. However, they don’t do reminder calls like every other doctors office on the face of the Earth. After having been their«patient»(more like their client!!) for almost a year, I’m convinced this is just a scam to make money. For a while, I was super scatter-brained, and it turns out that it was because I was on too high a dose of the pill they have me on(Susan finally figured this out). During this period, I missed two appointments because I was really only half there, and this as a result of being prescribed too high a dose by one of their employees! And, of course, with no reminder calls, there went $ 200. It’s a psychiatrist’s office – one would assume that many of the patients may be a bit scatter brained… so obviously the«no reminder call/$ 100 missed appointment» thing is designed to make a buck off their«patients». The final straw came when they gave me an appointment, I actually made it, and then they tell me that’s not when they had me down, and proceeded to say I’d be charged $ 100. I argued that I was told a different date, and the receptionist said that«It is in our records as the correct date, so clearly we didn’t give you the wrong date.» Hmmm… clearly… I am obviously changing psychiatrists.
