I really hate to write negative reviews, and rarely do, but this place won’t make it unless they listen to the feedback. I want it to do well! It’s got a good menu at a great location. Service was good when they first opened. It’s not now. I went in with my husband and three older teenagers for lunch. A blonde, authoritative looking lady was on a computer at the bar. When no one looked at us when we went in, we interrupted her to inquire about a table. She seemed annoyed when she told us to find our own seat. A full 10 minutes went by with no server. Since we were the only ones in the store, that was a problem so we all got up and left to go to Lenny’s. About 5 – 6 months later, my son really wanted a cheese steak and they were the closest to home. We walked in the empty restaurant at 12:45pm waited for a moment, and our server sheepishly walked in behind us from outside. She sat us down and took our orders. When the drinks came, there was a greasy film with large flecks of white all in the cokes. Our waitress left out the side door when we ordered and never came back. I had to walk back to the kitchen to issue my complaint with a manager. He was much more occupied trying to figure out where the server went than our problem. He brought us new cokes with the same greasy film and white flecks of grease. We were now about 35 minutes into this simple, two cheesesteak lunch(with gross drinks, no waiter, and no food) when we politely told him the greasy mess in the cokes had made us question the overall care of the food and we needed to go. We didn’t have our food yet. We went to Lenny’s where we will always go from here out. I hate to negatively review a local business, but this one may have some very deep issues.

We are done with this place. We have gotten delivery from Jersey Boyz several times since they opened. In the beginning, it was great food! Now? Not worth the $$. They have failed many times, but I keep hoping they would return to norm… Not going to happen. All of the food tonight was just nasty. It ticks me off we spend this much $$ and they just don’t care. We will NOT be giving this place anymore $$$ anytime soon. The only thing I can figure, it looks like they have a bunch of kids running this place now.

Terrible! Just ordered delivery for the first time. Girl on the phone was snippy. Order was wrong, pizza was terrible, and no one would pick up the phone when I tried to call back. Epic fail. :(

Being from Brooklyn I am really PICKY about pizza. No cardboard pizza for me. I love Sal’s Pizza but they are a little far from me. Jersey Boyz is really good. Only one time I felt it was meh… we’ll be having it again tonight!

I finally get to use the«word» Meh! Meh– An interjection used to imply indifference towards a subject; «a verbal shrug». Q: «Hey Lou. How is the pizza at Jersey Boyz?» Me: «Meh.» Q. «How about the Eggplant Parmesan?» Me: «Meh» Q: Pasta? Me: «Meh.» Q: Service? Me: «Meh.» Thanks Jersey Boyz, not for the greasy pizza, dry eggplant, or soggy pasta. Thanks for letting me take«Meh.» off my bucket list.

Staff not great here, we ordered appetizer and it never came. Our pizza was cold. The waiter kept coming by asking if we got our appetizer yet. It actually got comical. We told him to forget it since we had our cold pizza already. Go to Fox’s, much better pizza and much better service.

Food was good but not the best pizza around. Staff was okay, had a hard time getting them to come to table to check on us. Probably won’t go back.

I decided to try a new pizza place in the area and found this one. The pizza was great and the garlic knots were by far the best that I have ever tasted. The delivery time was fine. Since my discovery, I’ve noticed that many of my neighbors must also like this place because I see the delivery car in my neighborhood a lot.

When I heard someone there has actually BEEN to Philadelphia, I figured I may find a decent cheesesteak. How disappointing!!! I stopped in during peak lunch hours and the place was completely empty. That should have been my first clue that the food isn’t all that fantastic. For $ 9, you would think the sandwich would be a decent size, but it was so small it’s laughable. My tiny little sandwich actually had more cheese than meat which is another disappointment. Maybe if they improved the pricing, or made it more of a value for the money, business would improve. They have potential to be very, very good but need to price accordingly. Won’t be back anytime soon.

We ate here for an early dinner. Used a coupon for salad, garlic knots, and a pizza. The salad was good, but the garlic knots were to die for! Good pizza too. Our only complaint is that the Yingling beer was very pricey. 4.50 for a draft is too much.

Pizza started off great when first opened. However, we ordered takeout this past weekend. I went out to pick up because I love my pizza HOT and often with delivery you wont have hot food. When I picked it up the food was luke warm(I was two minutes early from the time they quoted). We ordered the mexican pizza that was supposed to come with sour cream and lettuce. It was missing in action. The greek salad was great. For the price of pizza you can find much better.

Pass by this place on the way home from work every night. Decided to give it a try. Placed a phone order for pickup. They told me it would be ready in 20 mins. I arrived to find a totally empty restaurant. Décor seemed a bit sparse, but it may have just felt that way because of the lack of patrons. Very nice bar area. My order was ready when I got there. Paid and I was in and out very quickly. Ordered an Extra-Large ‘Brian’s Brooklyn Bomber’(pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and black olives). Avg priced(about $ 24 with tax). Got it home and dove in. Both my dining partner and I thought the pizza was awesome! Some of the best pizza I’ve had since moving from NY11 years ago. Crust was just right. Not too thick, not too thin. Perfectly crisped on the bottom and outer crust. Light and fluffy inside the crust. Great tasting sauce. Ample toppings, but not excessive. The two of us ate the whole pie! I will be heading back for more! I hope more people discover this place and help to keep them around.

I wanted some different pizza in the area and found Jersey Boyz on the web. Am I glad I did — I’ve ordered from here four times since. Great pizza — the crust is thin and soft, and the sauce is great. This place is only a few miles from my home, so it looks like Jersey Boyz will be a regular stop for me. Keep it up!
