We’ve had Jason help us with three separate jobs as we prepared to sell our home. Jason and his most frequent assistant are both professional and did a great job on the exterior repairs. The only downside is that the third task – and exterior paint job – was poorly done by the guys that he sent out to do it. Jason had to come back himself to remove paint from the windows – but he did!

I needed to have a couple of ceiling fans hung. I called Jason and he told me he could certainly do that and he charged $ 45 an hour for his work. When I discussed with him about scheduling, he said he was a couple of weeks out, but if he ended up with some open time and was going to be in our area, he’d let us know. Called literally two hours before he said he could be there. So I change my day around and rush to make sure I can be home when he gets there. But then he ends up being over an hour after he said he’d arrive(he did call, but again, at this point I’ve already changed my schedule on short notice to accommodate him.) In any event, one of the fans’ installations ended up being not as straightforward as we’d hoped, but Jason was able to make it work. I spoke with him about some of the many other(the majority of which are much bigger) projects I needed to have done. He provided some ball park quotes, etc. Well, when it was time for him to leave(about an hour to an hour & fifteen minutes after he got there) he told me that the balance due was $ 125… but it was quoted at $ 45 an hour. Now, I totally understand that many companies have minimum time blocks, but this is something that MUST be disclosed up front, especially when he knew that my job was a pretty limited scope, quick visit. The ethical thing to do is to say«well buddy, we’re done with the fans, and I know I didn’t tell you this up front, but I’m going to charge you for three hours’ worth of work anyway, so maybe we could go ahead and work on some of those other projects you told me about.» But alas, that did not happen. Also heard him take a call while he was here and again, he said $ 45 an hour but didn’t mention to the other poor guy on the phone that there was a three-hour minimum charge. Needless to say, we’ll find someone who’s more straightforward and upfront to do the rest of the big jobs we need to have done. Update: I’m trying to change this to one star after realizing that the job he did do wasn’t even done correctly. The fan in the living room is mounted, but he failed to connect the remote(as we discussed up front), and since it’s done inside the body of the fan, there’s no way i can do it without taking the whole fan down. Called the guy today and he quickly informed me that he did ME a favor by only charging me for three hours of ONE person’s work since he brought a helper with him. Ummm, thanks for the favor Jason? The job still wasn’t done.

I have used Jason at my home and for properties I manage in Roswell, Alpharetta and Cumming. He is a professional and does a great job. He shows up on-time, does the work right and finishes the jobs. No headaches. He is also licensed and insured. I would have no issue recommending him.

I had Jason help me with a Barn last year that I was too busy to finish painting. He helped me finish up the carpentry(there were some trim boards missing) and the painting. He worked very hard at a reasonable price.
