Dr Sivan is very knowledgeable, efficient, and excellent «bedside» manner.
Her staff is always friendly, and I appreciate their use of current technology for reminders and the best possible way to evaluate your eye health.
Parking is always a pain. The hours they are open are extremely limited. Selection of frames is also limited. I was frustrated that I was told to do «pictures» of my eye, without being told it was an extra cost; in the past I was given an option to do that or dilation or to not worry about it at all.
The thing that bothers me the most is that each of the past three appointments I’ve had (over 3 years) the staff didn’t know how to charge me. Each time when I went to pick up my glasses that they charged me wrong and I owed more money. I tell them I have $X budgeted and they try hard to upsell, saying it is only X much more, when it ends up being double or triple what they quoted me. This last time I ended up $ 100 over budget, which is a lot for me.
The office went from being a really good price compared to other offices to being just as expensive. As awesome as Dr Sivan is, I’m fed up with her staff not being trained well enough to quote me an accurate price the first time or to be accurate when pricing different levels of options.
The nail in their coffin for me was how difficult it was to pick up my last pair of glasses. When they called me to say they were ready, I asked if I could pick them up on Saturday, since due to work I normally can’t make it between their normal week day hours; they stated that was fine. I called on Friday afternoon to confirm and found out the office would be closed on Saturday and they didn’t call to tell me this. Supposedly they called everyone and not just those with appointments, but I was missed. When I said I would leave right then to arrive 10 minutes before they closed, they told me not to bother as they would be closing early. Instead they left my glasses with the hair dresser two doors down. My glasses aren’t comfortable since no one was willing to stay open to their posted hours to make adjustments that normally need to be made with new frames.

I have an appointment at 11am it’s 11:40 and still have not been seen… They call you and text you about an appointment and time and here I am waiting…11:45 still nothing I walked out.

Always a pleasant experience for the whole family. Great selection of frames and friendly staff. Dr. Sivan is incredible and very thorough.

Good practitioner. Fast, efficient service. The only downside is that the shop is located in Vickery Village (cramped, limited parking) and the shop is tiny. I felt claustrophobic the entire time. Even in the waiting room.
