Yay privatization! There is a contract postal unit located in this convenience store. What does that mean? It is like a 24 hours a day post office. No, this isn’t a mail boxes etc type place. It is like a mini branch of the post office, right in the store. You can mail a package anytime and deal with an honest to goodness human freakin being (not a machine). But wait, it gets better. The employees here are actually nice. The lady at 9:00pm tonight smiled at me. Imagine that.
Yeah, this part of town is real sketchy. But it is totally worth it to not deal directly with the USPS employees. And while you’re shipping your package, you can pick up some lottery tickets, slim jims and wire some money to Latin American. It is all here under one roof!
