Unique Eyebrow Threading

I used to swear by this place but the last few times I’ve gone I have just not been satisfied. My eyebrows have not been shaped the same way so I need to fill them in in certain areas. On top of that she butchered the top of my right eyebrow so it looks like I have a small bald spot where the hair is very thin, I can assure you it wasn’t there before. I now have to let my eyebrows grow out. Makes me sad because I loved it here, now I’m nervous to go back.

I will literally go no where else! My eyebrows always come out just the way I want them. Great service.

I highly recommend this place. There’s no other place that my friends and I get my eyebrows done but here. I’ve been a regular customer for over a year now. They’re very efficient and do an excellent job; always consistent. The parking lot is small and sometimes it can be busy, depending on the time and day, but it’s worth it. And if you don’t have cash on hand, they have an ATM inside.

I think that prices are a little higher than other places I have been in the past however, they do a pretty great job! I just moved for Greenville to Cumberland and used to go to the Unique in Greenville, I feel the Cumberland location shaped my eyebrows better.

Prices are slightly higher than most places, but they consistently do an excellent job. I’ve never left with a lopsided eyebrow or sporadically hairy upper lip. I also like that you get one of the two woman to do the job. There is another place in Cumberland that can do eyebrows, but you’ll get different people and different results each time.

This place is perfect for getting your eyebrows done. I have been their customer for past 6
experience has been wonderful each time. The owner and the threaders are really friendly and perfectionist for eyebrows. They dedicate time to each customer to make sure they see their eyebrows and thread accordingly and help the customers to make the shape of eyebrows better by suggesting them. They never rush any customer with the threading. They are very perfect and particular about their work. They have 2 other locations (Bellingham and Smithfield) and all are as best as this place. I would highly recommend this place for threading

I have been a client with Unique Eyebrows for 7yrs. and would travel over 45min specifically to get my eyebrows done. I was happy with the care and attention to detail that one specific lady would give there. I had tried other ladies there and they are AWFUL! Unfortunately, the last time I went she was not there. I figured since I was already here that I would just have one of the other ladies do my eyebrows. I was turned off when I asked her to go thinner and she replied with «you don’t need yours thinner, not in winter.» Alright, not what I asked for but thanks anyways. I still had hope for the place because I figured it was a one off experience. But then came the stamp card. Remember, I live 45min away, I don’t always remember my stamp card but I actually did this time. I ask if she could combined my 5 cards (one time stamped each) to one card for me. She refused as did the owner. The owner keep saying that there was only one card per person. I explained that it was only for me and another customer even jumped in to help me out thinking that there was a misunderstanding and wanted to help clarify on my behalf. Nope, there was no misunderstanding. The owner was rude in handling this matter and was extremely inflexible. I will not continue my business there because I don’t believe in support a business for rude owners who don’t treat loyal long time customers well.
After leaving, my sister pointed out that she noticed that the hand sanitizer that is out for them to use between clients was not used between her treatment and mine… GROSS! Thank goodness it was just my sister but who knows what germs I picked up from there. More than anything I am upset that I tipped $ 5 for a $ 10 threading treatment because I was so flustered during my argument with the owner.

This is a great place to get your eyebrows threaded. I highly recommend. The threaders take their time to look at your brows and make a plan for what they should do today and action to take in the long run. I went here regularly from 2011 – 2013 before I moved out of state. I now return when visiting family. There are now 3 locations. Pricing is very fair, cash only. Parking is limited and sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but it is well worth it!

Best eyebrow threading experience! The staff are very friendly and thorough. Not to mention, my eyes did NOT water at all! That’s a super bonus! Plus, they have a «buy 9 eyebrow threadings & get one free.» Definitely will be returning! Thank you Unique!

After moving to North Smithfield and no longer having my go to threading place nearby, I found this one about 10 minutes away from where I live. Upon coming in, the wait time was non-​existent. The threader was super helpful and it barely hurt! She did it quickly and efficiently. My eyebrows looked great and after, she even did a tiny little quick massage with the lotion. Love the extra effort put in.
Beyond that, the only complaint I would have is that they don’t take credit cards. It’s a cash or check-​only type of place.

I will not go anywhere else — when it comes to eyebrows you have to be selective — both the Cumberland & Smithfield locations are GREAT! I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Whenever I see gorgeous brows around town, I know they came from one place and that’s Unique! The women here are masters of the craft and have turned even the worst of eyebrow disasters into beautiful brows.
For $ 10, they will spend as much time as needed to make those brows look fabulous. Tip generously! These ladies really do a fabulous job and deserve it!
Cash only, but they offer an ATM on site just in case. Parking at this location can be a bit of a hassle, so I try to visit at less hectic times of day. If you go on the weekend you will be waiting at least a few minutes but it is so worth the wait! Unique is certainly the best local brow threading place in Northern RI.

I walked in 30 minutes to close for my first eyebrow threading experience. I told her it was my first time and I had been growing my eyebrows out. Within minutes I was undergoing a completely painless, fast experience. Before I knew it, I was checking out my perfectly shaped and symmetrical eyebrows with a smile on my face. I enjoyed it so much I went for the lip!

I love it here! I live in MA but always try to get my eyebrows done here when I visit the fam in RI. They always do a great job. Sometimes on a Saturday or Sunday there will be a bit of a long wait but usually you can get in and out of there pretty quickly.

I LOVE Unique Eyebrow Threading! I was so happy when this salon opened in Cumberland — it is very close and convenient, but more importantly, they are the best threaders around! I have been to a few other salons in Rhode Island and the results were always «hit or miss». I always get great results from the ladies at Unique and they are very gentle and friendly. My husband is also a client (you would never know, because they keep his eyebrows shaped very «manly» and just clean up the unibrow issue)!
