The River Lofts at Ashton Mill

I’ve been living at the Ashton Mills for almost 2 years now. The staff has been great with fixing any maintenance order (even something as simple as replacing a lightbulb the next day) and they do a great job with cleaning up after snow storms. The apartments are pet friendly which is a huge plus for animal lovers and being so close to the river/​bike path makes for great scenic walks and excersizing with or without your pet. The office staff is friendly and plan fun events for the tenants such as summer cookouts and wine tasting.

I have been living at The Lofts for over a year and just renewed. I enjoy living here for many reasons; security, historical aspect, all appliances that I need at my fingertips, location. Love the brick walls! It’s pretty quiet too. Only thing on my wish list is better parking options but can’t have everything (oh, and lower rent… I’m from Midwest and still experiencing rent sticker shock). Great response to the couple maintenance issues.

It’s been a year+ and I can’t say enough about the office staff & maintenance crew. They’re like a part of your family… the maintenance is always on hand (including emergency on weekends) It’s really a carefree environment to live here ! The office staff will even deliver your UPS/​FedEx packages to your apartment.
Beside’s the staff there, the surroundings are very beautiful, you have the bike trail and the Blackstone river flowing past some of your windows. It’s a very safe place to live in and a wonderful place to make your residence

I just left The River Lofts due to a necessary relocation. I left with a sense of loss as I had made friends with the staff both from the office and maintenance crew. They were really helpful to me for the entire time that I made the Lofts my home.
After 8 years there I can tell you I experienced many diverse events from horrible weather to really nice patio parties manned by staff and crew alike.
I loved my apartment and the river view it afforded. It was always fun to watch
the river and the surrounding flora and fauna change during the seasons. And of course there is the beautiful bike path and state park across the river that was a source of relaxation and exercise as well.
I will miss my friends and the wonderful environment there for a long time.
Luckily for me and my wife we have moved into an apartment complex owned by the same company and we expect to enjoy this experience as well… although it will have a way to go to measure up to The River Lofts.

Having lived in many states I can say this was my worst apartment experience. Any corrections to apartment issues were not met with timely corrections. The office staff gave me false information when asked. It was verified through email. Their contractor hit my car and ran off without ever paying to have it fixed, so his father wouldn’t find out. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

Applause to the maintenance staff! We moved here at the start of a winter that featured storm after storm, ice, deep freezes, wind — you name it and Mother Nature piled it on. As new residents, we were curious how well the parking areas would be plowed.
Well, we were impressed. I’m not saying everything was plowed curb to curb immediately — that didn’t happen anywhere in the state! — but given what they were dealt, the maintenance team did a good job clearing snow from parking lots and paths. And I didn’t have to lift a shovel!
Our other maintenance requests have been promptly responded to as well.
