Rite Aid

I have been pleasantly surprised with this Rite Aid pharmacy. Having recently moved, I needed to switch my pharmacy location, and opted to give Rite Aid a try. The store is conveniently located near my new home and also in the same parking lot as my doctor’s office. This location also offers a drive-​up window and a larger, less chaotic parking lot than the CVS next door.
The pharmacists are very friendly and so far, have gone above and beyond for me. I had a question about the price of a prescription I had previously paid much less for, and the pharmacist was on the phone for over 20 minutes with my insurance company attempting to get it resolved. After the phone call there was a small line at the pharmacy and instead of making me wait, the pharmacist rang me up using the drive thru register and I was good to go. I feel as though my pharmacy experiences here have been much more personable than what I experienced at my previous CVS pharmacy.
The only inconvenience seems to be that I tend to use Rite-​Aid strictly as a pharmacy and still prefer shopping at CVS. I love the CVS extra-​bucks rewards/​coupons, and they always seem to have slightly lower prices on items I need in comparison to Rite Aid.
As long as the customer service and availability of medication at the pharmacy counter remain positive, I will continue to use this pharmacy.
